M3 is up.
Out of curiosity, why do we have a turn timer?

It does add a bit of pressure to get the turn played. I know I have prioritized this over my PBEM on a couple of occasions, and asked others to play the turn when I couldn't make it. That said, I'd personally be fine with extending it if people just think it's a hassle to keep worrying about pauses.

It doesn't really effect me - main pressure personally else is eager to play and does so fast, which makes me not want to delay for a second rate Civ.
I was just thinking about something thawk said about making it play like a pbem, and it'd certainly help with pauses - I mean, no-one actually wants it to roll on someone, so what's the point of a timer?
Just inconvenience IMO (I certainly played the turn where I had 10 minutes and had to keep pausing much worse then others).
