Sry. Had to go walking with the wife. Matt won't say anything and neither will I because its pointless to give more targets. If a target of mine comes up to the block then I may say something. If I prevented a kill should I give more information?

Bait. So that Matt could catch them. I was purposefully vague about it.

all three ability make sense and no player caught lie about them. unless we gain new info we can only guess which fake if any.

will re-read novice tomorrow.

maybe we get some zakalwe pressure overnight

Yeah, I am starting to think so too Jowy (about the three vigs). I had a neat theory for there being 2 scum groups, but when I think about it I can also see how the facts fit one scum group + lewwyn's vig kill. And tonight's no-kill could be Lewwyn's doing or it could be some other power at work.

How would you be able to prevent a kill? And why does Pindicator assume that you might? I don't get it.

In hindsight, it looks like Novice was caught in a slip when taking multiple scum factions for granted. (In the Stockholm syndrome post.) And it would be strange to list town as green and scum as cyan. So I doubt there are only ghouls.
If you know what I mean.

So he'd only be able to prevent a kill if there were still ghouls around - if there was a wolf kill to be blocked last night, someone else would have to be responsible for preventing that one.

I am not buying the no werewolves angle at all, seems clear from the write up they are, and my flavour text certainly makes no mention if being a werewolf

Seems a very odd theory to have come up with lewwyn

Another piece of questionable logic from Gazglum, IMO.

I miss Novice. He may have been scum, but at least he was nice to me.

I don't think the logic is questionable at all. It's like one of my old high school maths problems. If you reach into your sock drawer and pull out two ghouls and no wolves it's a good assumption that there were more ghouls than wolves in there. Especially considering that we didn't get Novice through any tells from his interactions with Azza.

Sure, we could have just happened to get the only two ghouls in the game. I just thought it was more likely that we had hit 2/3. I didn't quite get why other people seemed so quick to assume that all the ghouls were dead.

Regardless, I'm sure there are more wolves than ghouls alive now.

I actually had my own Ghoul theory I was feeling proud of, but Lewwyn seems to have blown it out of the water. Since ghouls like eating the dead, I thought the ghoul team might be like a team of Possessed - trying to influence the game to swing it to the wolves and winning with them, but not actually having any kill abilities themselves. That would explain the low kill rate so far: wolf/wolf + vig/wolf/blocked? But Lewwyn's ability certainly seems to imply killer ghouls, so I'll need to rethink.

But yeah, it seems obvious there are werewolves. Werewolves are mentioned in the write-ups, Serdoa flipped as a werewolf, the game is called werewolf. Lewwyn's theory is kind of glorious, but I think not.

I also still don't buy three vigilantes playing for the same side. But I need to reread and try to work out which of the three seems the most evil. The amount of detail Uber has given about his role, and the way he probed Brick and then semi-confirmed him, makes me now think he is the least likely to be scum of the three. Unless he is teamed with Brick, and that doesn't seem that likely either.

I'm still moving house this weekend, been running boxes back and forth. I'll definitely have much more time to contribute tomorrow though, and hopefully tonight.

Serdoa's opening post pretty much states that there *are* werewolves in this game: "Serdoa, one of the werewolves, died" in red

I don't believe Lewwyn's claimed role. I don't see lewwyn's role, a counterpart anti-wolf role, brick's and mine coexisting, at least not on the same team, it's too many kills.

Also, lewwyn's response after Matt tracked him:

Lewwyn Wrote:Why would you do this? Why would you out yourself as a tracker like this if you were villager? Are you a villager? It's only been 1 night and you immediately run out spill the beans? Why couldn't you wait and follow me again the next night?

I do not want to divulge what my role is. I did not go to Azza to kill him. I did not go to Azza to protect him.

- The first paragraph sounds like Lewwyn is frustrated that he got caught out visiting Azza. After all, tracking someone to a dead player is the closest thing a tracker can get to finding a smoking gun. If lewwyn's town I don't know why he would be so upset about Matt doing the normal thing which would be to claim. Shouldn't he be happy and proud to just claim his scum kill if he's a town vigilante? Whereas if he's a wolf he would feel frustrated that he'd been avoiding major suspicion and then suddenly gotten caught by a tracker.

- And secondly Lewwyn says didn't visit azza to kill or protect him? And now he is claiming a role which has only killing or protecting functions? So he is lying in one of these posts.

Lewwyn

I think he got caught doing the wolf night kill and had to improvise.
