I don't know if I mentioned it before, but at Commodore failing to hold Dominoes/the Zulu Moai city. I didn't take a picture, because what's the point...but the Zulu have my island city in revolt again. Yeah, the same one that flipped to them before that I bought off Commodore when he took the moai city, that is actually producing culture now, same as before...
If that city flips again I'm going to empty my cities in a Zulu death jihad. What about that rule that "cities cannot revert back to previous owner"? I know, doesn't apply here.
Anyway...so far I've wasted a work boat netting clams in the BFC at Mad Fish that reverted to Zulu control the same turn that I repaired the nets, I've spent a Buddhist missionary in the new city to get culture going, and as soon as I did that....3 turns of revolt. FML. Is this game over yet? Maybe I should declare war on Bigger/Lewwyn to get the idea across that the CV isn't happening and they're just wasting everyone's time.

Since I haven't bothered reporting much lately, this is a fun picture from a few turns ago. Hey Bigger, what's with the hate?
Don't be scared of Serdoa now. You know you want to fight him. END THIS.

T240 - Not that it matters, but
To do: find a way to pop borders that can happen before Plako's giant death robots consume us all. Because my scouting work boat is really, really tired of exploring the map (that's the original scouting work boat) and wants to settle down on those ice fish. Why do I need Astronomy to sail across that little patch of ocean? He can see the other shore, just keep swimming.
My carrack is wounded because he killed a barbarian galley on the fish. Wouldn't that have been lame if he had lost?

May as well post this one too.
I have a few units ready to complete in build queues that I swapped to something else (different units) since the swap to theocracy and probably vassalage is coming soon. Because of the stupid culture revolt in Bad Fish I'm going to have to run three wealth builds next turn to finish Printing Press. Next tech after that? Save gold forever, then go get Music so I can pop borders at the new city I guess. Or run culture slider to take my rice tile back from Serdoa at Black Fish. Inefficient? Oh hells yeah, but what else am I going to do with my commerce? I guess I could stockpile gold so that when/if I swap to vassalage and go into the red I'll have something to break my fall and delay the inevitable unit strikes? Until then...keep building units!

T241 - Looks like Serdoa is up to something.
Why else build a galleon there? We don't have open borders and a 0% chance of having open borders (I'll refuse), so that galleon isn't going to be voluntarily allowed to pass through my territory on the way to somewhere else. So he's probably going to take a shot at one of my cities. Mkay. He still has the same garrison he's had in Terrapin for quite a while, the only recent additions are a grenadier and a pair of airships. The airships are likely scouting me and Plako out every turn, but if he decides to invade me he'd get two free attacks against my top defender wherever he attacks. No counter, it's great to have a micro-sized economy.
Speaking of economy, I mentioned before that I'll need wealth builds to finish Printing Press this turn. Since my western city is in revolt ( ) it took four wealth builds. Great. Since I'm pretty sure I'll never research anything useful after this before we call the game I'm going to research Drama and Music next and be a pain in the ass on Serdoa's border because I want that goddamned rice tile. He built a city just north of Black Fish that is using that rice tile now, and I don't care for that. It's my rice tile. Go get your own. I'm of a mind to raze that little city just because I can. What's Serdoa going to do about it, kill me? If he launches a full scale invasion surely someone will call again for a concession. Because seriously, I'm not going to play this out forever when the game is obviously over. And attacking me means the game is obviously over for Serdoa. By the time he's done with me he'll have absolutely zero hope of ever catching Plako, so why do it? And if there's no hope of anyone else winning...why exactly are we still playing? Bigger/Lewwyn, hello? You guys don't have much time remaining to convince me it's worth continuing on. Because this isn't going to cut it:
That's 8,263/50,000 in his top city. Not happening. I'm not playing this out to see how long it takes Plako to decide to stop the attempt. Time is ticking, fellas. If you're going to do something you better start popping some big numbers soon on the F8 screen.
A fairly useless overview screen:
I've begun the process of launching the SNN attack fleet toward the Zulu eastern coast, but I don't think I care about that at this point either. What's the objective, to be able to say I'm sixth place instead of seventh? Does it actually matter? The demographics indicate I'm more 6th than 7th since they whipped their economy to shred in defense of Old India, but really who cares.
It's time to end this game.

I stole it from CFC. But thanks for your post, it caught me up to the long dead Indian civ in post count. And this completely uninformative post is merely a post++ to move me into 4th place. Huzzah!

And this to pull you ahead again... I think someone is trolling you over there.
So, what's your plan to make up the ~3500 thread views that you are still behind the first team eliminated from the game from six months ago??

I don't have a plan to make up for that. Their death was spectacular and unexpected, I'm sure it contributed somehow to the page views. That and they were posting a lot more frequently in the early game when maybe more people were following this game? I don't know.
Logging in to play the turn now. One turn closer to concession?

I'm not logging back in to do it now but note to self: swap build order in Bad Fish for T243.
Actually that's kind of the turn report for T242. Swapping build queues.
Demos - Maybe I'm in 6.5th place now?
That's all 85 land tiles gets you.
