The god without name was worried. Xaintha and Xorthos did plan something, that was obvious. And
when those two planned things he was sure nothing good could come from it. The only relieve was
that the village was still hunting wolves and they actually did quite well. Though, despite being a god
he was somewhat irritated that this actually happened. Not so much that a fight between gods had
repercussions for the human race - or rather all races - as that was somewhat expected and nothing
really could be done about it. But what had started as an argument between Xaintha and him had led
now to a mess which could potentially destroy the whole world. Well, one of the worlds, but still. And
she probably didn't even realize it. He had to make her understand.
"Lady Xaintha, we need to talk."
"Not now. Your village is about to lynch one of my wolves. The most gentle one to boot. Oh, he was
more like a kitten really. They are barbarians."
It seemed he had to postpone this conversation. When she was like that, there was nothing he could
do to get her attention. Even if he told her that the world would soon burn, right now she probably
would just tell him that this would be the rightful punishment for those hurting her 'kittens'. Murderous
kittens, with long fangs and sharp claws, but she loved them like only a mother could love her child.
Maybe he should have never allowed her to create those, but she had been in such a bad mood at that
time that he would have accepted anything as long as it made her smile. And she had smiled often since
- mostly at those times when her 'kittens' slaughtered other beings though.
"Nooooooo, my sweet, little, innocent... Is there any reason to cough Xorthos?"
"No, no, it was, uh, nothing."
The god without name could see the murderous look on her face. Oh, this night would be ... wonderful.
Gazglum, Werewolf, has been lynched.
