hell in the last 5 turns, not just 20.
I'll look around, I like the idea in theory, its just a question of how practical it is. I'd like to capture the city that has iron just south of "one does not" and keep it, thats a nice city. maybe raze 1-2 others. but it depends if he opens up for us like cornflakes did or not. hehe.
and I guess we're still 3-4 turns fromc annons? thats ok, we'll have a crapload of knights and muskets to bear down on him, hehe.

ok civ crashed while i was in game, but I saw enough i don't need to log back in.
I like attacking AT here, but I don't think there is a rush. I think we should wait a turn or two or three to see how the current war develops. I would like to see:
1. if cornflakes gets slaughtered, or if he's able to push against AT
2. what at's stack of grenadiers in jowy territory does. im afraid its going to retreat, its too small and jowy has too many longbows. but while we don't have cannons it could still possibly do some damage to us.
3. if anyone is willing to bribe us, hehe.
also would like to build up 5-8 muskets in the middle city to the west (since it can go east or west as needed). mostly for defense, but picking off undefended cities sandwiched between us jowy would be nice too. also, we are 2 turns from cannons so it would be nice to at least have some in queue building before we DOW.
looks good in the easdt, I would leave that stack there. but all knights (and later cannons) coming out of heroic epic city should go west, as well as units built there, until we have about 8 musket/knights. less needed over there, of course, but we need some. in 2 turns we could probably be in position to pick off those 2 cities, and make a massive push with cornflakes to cut a whole in AT (hopefully).
but we'll re-examine turn by turn.

also, btw, you've done well since you took over. things are looking good.
looks like we get a great person next turn. 30% prophet (good) 20% engineer (maybe better, for SOL). im not sure what to do with a different unit though. how many GP do we need for the next golden age? you've used the 2 person already, right? What about the 3 person?

Hey TT. I don't know how to say this, and please don't panic, but..... I think we're winning .
ok, now the bad news. we got a great merchant in the capital, kinda bummed. I was really hoping for the prophet or engineer. well, what to do with it. you can run a trade mission, but im paranoid about it being intercepted. I guess the safest path would be sending it to cornflakes capital, since we have a peace treaty and he should make it there before the treaty expires. or sending it through cornflakes to commodore would be the most profitable. another option is just holding onto it for a 3 person MOM powered golden age down the line. I'm not sure what the best option is, I'll leave that up to you.
watch the governors. I noticed futurama fry, for instance, had a spy specialist hired and a coast tile, with 2 grassland mines unworked. we need production there, so i fixed that. the governor is going to want to hire priest specialists everywhere, as well, since we built the paya. I like to scroll through every city before ending turn to catch crap like that.
move the spies out of jowys territory. no real point to harass him anymore. he's not even trading iron to corn, and with commodore giving it to him, it wouldnt matter anymore. and honestly since we have steel in 1t and cornflakes is fighting AT im not sure I care anymore. move them towards at, I guess.
after steel, i would recomending corporation--> democracy---astronomy (the latter for our unique building, salons, not for galleons). all will help our economy and will be good trade baiut. we should be able to get military science from at for corporation eventually. don't let go of democracy without at least replaceable parts, and maybe we can get rifling for astronomy (or we give democracy to cornflakes for R parts, and then to AT for rifling, not sure).
plains farms are pointless, stop that (Azza are you listening?)
and since im nagging you anyway (sorry) lets turn to the war:
there was really no point to stacking the troops on the border, it just gives AT a clue. all our troops are 2 movers, so they are going to stop dead in that jungle tile and could have hit it the same from one does not or even grumpy cat. same with cancelling open borders with AT (or did AT do that??).
no matter, at isn't defending that city. he lost 2 cities to cornflakes . I would recommend backing the troops up, letting AT play first, then delcaring next turn. our goal should be at least to take V. i would be happy with V and ER, tbh. we don't want a difficult to defend border. a small gain at AT's expense would be nice, without making the "dogpile the leader" that will eventually come against us too difficult.
good luck!
edit: oh and I took EPs off Jowy and onto 2metra, who is raplidly becoming relevant again.

Bigger, I have good news and bad news.
I have internet, but it seems I cannot connect to the game right now so I can give thoughts but can't play the turns.
I put the army up by V to show AT what we had and then offer a bribe this turn or next turn to stay away. I don't think we should fight because I think he will quickly make peace with Jowy and possibly Cornflakes (as I imagine he has achieved his set goals without too much losses given the speed of the city capture) and turn it all on us.
Lets see if we can convince AT to bribe us to stay away and let him focus on attacking cornflakes as that is more profitable for us when Cornflakes does not have guaranteed peace with us. If we have to declare then instantly offer peace then I'm fine with that too - I just don't want a full out war atm.
Lets make the most of the peace and get that trade mission done.

well he already made peace with Jowy.
I think cornflakes is trying to get competitive again, which will mean capturing cities. which he's already had trouble with us and commodore, and 2metra too.
I wouldnt mind just getting V.
did you cancel open borders or did AT?

ok, played the turn. did some stuff. drafted 3 cities and whipped 2. we have steel now, yay! started on corporation. with the fail gold from paya we should be able to get it before the gold runs out. hopefully it will help our economy enough to finance some other yummy techs.
i'd be happy with just this, so I made the threat. it will be worth taking it peacefully to keep the culture in tact (not to mention infastructure and population). if he refuses Ill declare next turn, move in, and offer same deal for peace. I didn't play the double move for this reason.
besides us now having steel, this is why I think he might accept.
cornflakes does not appear to be slowing down hehe.

well i haven't declared war yet, but every turn I think im going to do it the next one <G>
our power is now only behind cornflakes, and not far. honestly I think cornflakes will wipe the floor with AT as much as he wants, so we might as well join in and get our piece. I want a few cannons first - not for AT, but as insurance in case we end up with cornflakes again. we'll see.
2metra is #3 in power, but no cannons, yet. he has military science, but damned if im going to trade him steel for it. ill give up corporation <G> his economy is still bad, although he's done well with tech trading.
