[SPOILERS] Jowy & Stampy

It's over cry

The war I mean, not the game! jive

I feel bad for signing peace when Cornflakes just came to our aid, but we don't really have an attack force to use.
Anyway I know Cornflakes didn't do it just to help us, but for personal gain as well.
I thought about trying to get more from AT, but I once played the bluff game and it cost us heavily.
So I accepted this:

What now? We'll need some economy buildings, like banks. I think I'll get a few more muskets, but no reason to have every city making them when we are so low on GPT. We got a +10 GPT boost because I could finally cancel our GPT deal to Cornflakes. Bigger's should be soon after, and that's 30 GPT. Let's also see how many units AT moves to meet Cornflakes. If he leaves his cities under-defended, we might want to go on the offensive after the peace deal ends.

Cornflakes captured two cities from AT, one at the border and one further ahead. This looks pretty hard for AT to defend, because Cornflakes has so many ways to attack him. A lot will depend on the unit composition though, and whether Cornflakes is in danger from his other neighbors.

This is really anticlimatic, I am diappointed in AT. banghead I was expecting a serious bloodbath, prepared popcorn and drinks, and then AT just quits. No. No. NO. shakehead Shame on you, AT. nono Oh, well. Till the next time then.neenerneener

Oh a serious bloodbath is happening alright. Just it ain't AT murdering us, but Cornflakes murdering AT hammer

Ouch that's gotta sting! Two biggest cities are GONE.
His troops are on the move now. ALL of them.
We're going to try to pull off something with a spy to help out Cornflakes if possible.

They are all empty. In fact, notice Commodore's knights and a chariot. He could destroy all of those cities right now.

How is the AT's power graph looking, is AT losing alot of units or are his eastern cities empty?

Probably empty at first, but then a clash at the capital because two great generals died that turn. Power graph is delayed so it won't show anything yet. Since AT pulled every single unit of his away from our border to defend the rest of his lands, I think it's safe to say that he's in big trouble.

And we're in war again! yikes
This time it's Commodore coming after us. I even saw it coming, what else would those cats be doing all the way here?
Problem is, I HAD to bring nearly all my units to defend against AT, so logistics might be a problem. I'm so glad right now that I accepted the first peace offer from AT.

Nope, those knights aren't going to capture the completely undefended cities. They are going for Eden Prime rolf
I know he used spies (I'll get to that in a bit), but looks like he forgot to check my defenses.
Let's get cranking! hammer

And they're gone. What a waste of troops, couldn't even pillage a tile.
Now to the real threat..

It's not a fearsome force, but we had to pull all our units east to deal with AT, so he might be able to capture Virmire temporarily. Bigger problem is if he has more troops, which he likely has, but I don't think he's committed to a full-on attack against me. Just a quick skirmish to try to catch me unawares. In fact he already sent me a peace offer, Virmire for peace. I didn't accept, I'm going to see this through. He used spies to pillage our roads, and while we had a worker pair close-by, they were not close enough to re-connect the road during the same turn. If they had been, we would definitely manage to hold Vimire. Btw I made a mistake in the picture, there are currently only 1 musket and 2 maces in Virmire, I accidentally counted the pike that was whipped there.

Let's see how the dice roll!

Losing those knights must have created some WW in Commodore's cities. smile

More war!! Bigger finally declared on AT! whip
At this point it wasn't very helpful to us anymore, but I do want to see AT go down before us, so I suppose it's fine.
Bigger's stack is visible and it won't be a problem to us, but he probably has way more troops hidden.
I kept some of the units in Eden Prime instead of sending them out to meet Commodore. Just in case.

Our GPT deal to Bigger is finally done, and we're not close to bankruptcy anymore! However, considering the circumstances, we might want to keep trading GPT for techs with Bigger. It's a deal beneficial to both sides, and GPT deals make sure that he doesn't attack us because that would break them. We still need to keep the deals reasonable though, it would be unfair to the other teams if we just gave everything we had to Bigger just so he'd kill us last.

Offered this deal. Now back to the war at hand..

He lost first three fights, but won the last three. He got a bit greedy, attacking before the catapults were in position, but it was probably the best chance he'd have. Workers are just OP, there's nothing he can do about me re-connecting the road this turn and reinforcing the city (pic was taken before I moved anything). Now I have 2 muskets, 1 longbow, 1 mace, 1 injured mace and another whipped pike defending it. More troops are on the way in case he brings reinforcements of his own, but more likely he accepts peace and I can turn those units right back around. He could possibly steal those two workers of mine who re-connected the road. I only have a single musket defending them because everything that could reach the city went there to defend it.

So you want just peace from Commodore, no techs? frown

I wish we could get techs, but somewhere along the way I have lost my balls, alas I lack the testicular fortitude for such play.
