We just happened to be in the best position to exploit their stupidity
(Just as CFC were in position to exploit SpanAP's)
Anyways, the real question is, will our reputation for greed and ruthlessless impair our ability win?
I think our best chance for victory is to distract CFC's ability to form a dogpile and CivFR's ability to cleanly eat their neighbour. I think CivFR-poly's relationship is doomed, their geopolitics conflict, thereby bringing those two out of our hair. CP and CFC have everything to gain from dogpiling us, and reputation for greed and ruthlessness won't stop that kind of deal. On the other hand, WPC's days are numbered, it's only a matter of time before CFC and UniversCiv carve them up. They'd be better stewards if WPC's land than WPC themselves. They might resent us for denying them their rightful spoils, but they'll resent whoever actually attacks them directly.
Therefore, our diplomatic goals are:
1) Guarantee a CivFR-'poly war, with the hopes the former won't cleanly eat the latter. Which is unlikely anyway. In any case, this should lead to...
2) Weakening the CFC-CP-poly dogpile on us, for they're going to wait until they can cleanly get spoils. The more parties, more their chances.
Giving them the existing cities was not proposed. Instead the idea was to raze them and let WPC resettle the AREA not the exact spots. And with the restriction to not overlap the BFCs. And maybe take one remaining tundra city for ourselves.
That of course makes for a different tactical situation.
Also the idea of good relations with WPC is to actually secure that border and have them act as a buffer.
All of the sudden we reverse our diplomatic approach to neighbours. But at least that will make scooter's job a lot easier when it comes to replying to WPC next time: "Bugger off!"

Yeah I'm still wary of simply throwing WPCs request in their face. We need something reasonable that will distract their attention (be it killing Germany before they kill WPC cities). But beyond that, WPC have no bargaining power, which makes it difficult to deal with each other reasonably.

Hereby notifying you that we are going to stop auto-extension of our NAP agreement with your team from now.
I know that you will ask for reasoning. It is quite simple. You have grown too strong and we do not feel it appropriate to provide you security, while we are small and are just doing fine at our own. We fully understand that by this we can pull your rage attack on us. Do what you have to do.
Thank you for keeping all of your obligations and not violating its spirit.
P.S: Do you consider 170 as the last turn of guaranteed peace or it is 169?
Good luck!

Are they begging us to attack them? I don't understand the 'Do what you have to do' part.
I have finally decided to put down some cash and register a website. It is www.ruffhi.com. Now I remain free to move the hosting options without having to change the name of the site.

I think it's 'we know there may be consequences, and we accept them'. It seems to me that we've got to prepare for an Apoly/CivPlayers invasion on T170. Hopefully CFC and CivFr stay busy with each other.
What's CivPlayers' warfighting tech level? I remember seeing that they got Engineering recently, which suggests we're a little bit ahead. I know we're a smidgen behind Apolyton.
Edit: It makes me amused at the idea of 'we'll just run over WPC with cavs' - I think we're going to need our military elsewhere for the forseeable future
I propose we build a spy or two, and start using it to scope out their stacks.
Agree with Muskets next.
Remember that we'll need an extremely large army to defend our fronts against CP and 'poly, thanks to our huge empire and population bloating our power rating.

I think it's a combo of 1) They and Apolyton have promised each other not to sign a NAP with us for the sake of mutual protection and 2) They are a little bit crazy when it comes to diplo.
