Look, i get we're all upset and thereea lot of tension in this game from a lot of sources. The last thing we need to do is turn on each other. Mistakes will happen, but nobody is trying to sabotage things or be a jerk (unless you mean CFC). So while i understand kjn's frustration, and the frustration a lot of people have, we can't turn it against each other or this will go downhill fast

No, certainly not. And I can certainly understand people here being upset with me - I was pretty upset with myself.

But I'm less talking about the mistake than about our own reaction to the mistake. I posted here as soon as I realised things, and we could discuss the thing sanely and request a reload over on CFC which we got.

Then the team, collectively, messed things up again, this time for CivFr. But while some people here have admitted that we messed up and simply should say so, I see a lot more people giving excuses or thinking that if we say nothing the problem will go away, or blaming on CFC since 2metraninja may or may not tries to score points from the mess we created.

Ignore what 2metraninja says for now. But I think we owe an apology to CivFr, Plako, Caledorn, and the rest of the teams, in that order.

I agree with this. That's why I personally favor a simple post at CFC with an apology and a simple explanation.

Yes, i think that is a great suggestion too. Sorry if i misunderstood your posts kjn; it sounded like you were attacking the whole team for messing up the timer

I didn't see anyone suggest we shouldn't do what's necessary e.g. replay our turn. It's completely obvious we will do that. No berating or blaming required.

If we're going to be forced to reroll everything, at least we can correct a couple of the misclicks.

That is some impressive work. I don't think that the team needs me at all at this point...

I have a suggestion to help us be more informed and avoid situations like this.

Make a reference thread, with links to things like the civstats page of the game, and the CFC forum about the game. And a copy of the ruleset of the game. Sticky it.
