I for one learned what not to do from that. We should also call them out for being stupid for the first 4 turns. Diplo Quote:Hi WePlayedCrap,

"Right, as the world goes, is only in question between equals in power, while the strong do what they can and the weak suffer what they must." “I have never understood why it is "greed" to want to keep the money you have earned but not greed to want to take somebody else's money.”
Some facts to back up the smack:
Max WPC units that existed in German territory ~t154: (pics here) 5 archers 3 chariots 10 dogs 5 swords 15 cats(!) 7 spears total 200k power (45 units) So far we have killed: 12 axes 9 spears 14 longbows 1 quecha 3 elephants 1 catapult total 211k power (40 units) So we have killed more power than they even brought to the table. They said they had a 3rd stack that we never saw, I can't account for that. I don't know that we need to spell all this out, but them's the facts if they come in handy.
And why would WPC care about ending the war as soon as possible? The only thing they care about is getting cities that are on a "safe" border. I'm sure they're saying in their forum that they got units near the city theoretically in position to eventually take the city, therefore have a claim under the agreement to the city.
Well, they've had units by that city since the start of the war...

NEW RULE:
* If you are logged into the game and you are not me, do not do any diplomacy with any other team. I am being serious here. I hate doing the "it has to be this or I quit" routine, but I am going to insist on this in the future. I don't think this is a total catastrophe, but it is bad, and if it happens with a more important team in the future then we could seriously jeopardize our game. If you are logged into the game and another team messages you in-game, ignore it, notify me, and I'll follow-up with that team. That's all I'm going to ask. It does have to be this way from now on. I'm not going to make a big fuss over this, but I definitely will if it happens again. I can totally understand getting irritated at the "BS" comment, but the simplest solution is to just not even respond. That's easy to explain away - it's easy to miss chats and/or just explain that whoever was in-game wasn't authorized to do diplo, etc. Everyone who logs in okay with this?
I second Scooter's rule. I suggest this official response to any in-game chats:
"I'll pass this along to our diplo team, we'll reply as soon as possible." No matter how simple the answer seems.
I am not logging into the game... but I totally agree with scooter here. Sullla on the stream was kind of funny and all but... we shouldn't repeat this.
