Thanks for explaining, Muriel.

Back from camping. I couldn't get a data signal out in the Brazilian outback, but I'm reasonably caught up now. I'll try to post something more holistic before the deadline, but two isolated comments/questions for now:

I haven't voted for anybody since making that stupid mistake where I voted for Simple Anne. I know Bert thought it was funny, I just wish I could say I did it on purpose as a joke. It was pure smoke And I was embarrassed for making such a stupid mistake after; sorry that this made me not want to contribute.

Doctor Saul, I'm not sure I buy this. You were eager to put pressure on a lurker by voting for Simple Anne. Why not just move your vote to another lurker when you realized the mistake? Bert even asked you specifically if you meant to vote for Sister Mary instead - why no comment on that? Instead you just quietly went back to not voting for anybody, and not pointing any fingers whatsoever. You did cast a green vote but still no mention of what to do with your red vote. So that long stretch of passivity was because you were too embarrassed to contribute? I can't help but suspect that your vote for Simple Anne was just a calculated attempt to get towncred for doing something silly.

Young Will, why did you target Bert with your ability? Weren't you worried that he might be night-killed?

This is silly. Just ask the Mod if he made an error. If he said no or gives an ambiguous answer that means Saul is lying. And someone who lies like that is a wolf...well most of the time lol .

Perhaps your perception is colored by the fact that you weren't around at the time.

I will wait for more opinions on Saul before taking that any further.

Young Will until he answers why he was watching Rob and me.

I also agree that Scarlet John's call for a policy lynch is sudden and seems off. It reads a bit like an attempt to redefine the case against him. (Though to be fair, the accusations did revolve mostly around activity.)
I'm glad you brought this up again. At the time the "watching two people I haven't mentioned before for no given reason" post struck me as bad, and I had wanted to revisit it today. He hasn't really done anything since to lessen the unease either. (To the point I've read up to anyways)

Why was this addressed to me? You're glad I brought it up, as if I'm some kind of heroic scum hunter for doing it... when all I'm doing is repeating Widow Edith's question, backing her up. On day 1, I attacked you and you dismissed my case in an aggressive tone and pretended it revolved around shrubberies, but on day 2, you address me in reverence as if I'm a lodestar. That strikes me as off.

And that whole post that I'm quoting from looks like a wolf simply rehashing what everybody else has already said.

Just use the ninja post trick. You can post at 4:00 and claim that you cross-posted to make it unstoppable. lol

I might as well do this:
So, Narrator did you make an error in counting Doctor Saul's vote?

I think you may be missing my point, or I am missing yours. It was immediately pointed out to Doctor Saul that he was voting for a dead player, and he immediately acknowledged that, by saying it was embarrassing. But he didn't answer whether or not he actually meant to vote for somebody else (Sister Mary), and he didn't cast a new vote until much, much later.

I thought you meant that Saul had a strange power-role that allowed him to vote for someone without putting their name in red. Now, I understand you, you are saying that he wasted his vote on someone, acknowledge it, and then for some strange reason failed to vote someone for a long time.

@LE

I might be mistaken but I don't think Jons point was about the error of the tally, but more about that Saul claims he was so embarrassed by that error of voting for Simple Anne that he disappeared for several hours (I think nearly a full day, but haven't check the timings) while Jon feels that it could have been a ploy be Saul to get village cred for a silly error.

The wrong vote-count doesn't play any part in that.

Yes, I read it that way now.

About Rob The Filch, I don't think he would ask to be replaced if he were scum.* I realize many people will probably call foul and WIFOM and whatnot over that, but it's my personal opinion. I don't think he would bluff about asking for a replacement either, but even if he did, it would be a risky bluff, because somebody else might be replaced and people would then question why no replacement was found for Rob.

That's not to say that I won't listen to arguments for why he's scum, but I'm more inclined to say he's innocent at this point.

*Unless the reason was that he was truly extremely busy/preoccupied IRL, but that doesn't appear to be the case here.

@LE / Fat Rose: Yes, that's what I meant.
