Thanks for being one of the few supporting me. GG WP, very nice move in the beginning, though I'm sure the game master was fuming when he saw that lol

Can someone answer Saul's question? I too would like to know if there is a role like that, and how it works.

well you've studied the mafia wiki it seems, what can you tell us? tongue

I believe I've seen a redirector role before, but it is rare. even more rare than fool, which hasn't been used since the old games, iirc. but the simplest solution is usually the best.

Saul, what results did you get?

Jon, why do you suspect Richard? I'm willing to be open minded here.

Edith I did answer that question. I told you that my stance on Will and the secrecy is known. And just a bit ago, I linked you a post that explains my stance, in case you managed to miss it. I don't really know how to make it any clearer, and I'm not about to make stuff up just to appeal to you. I suppose you'll just have to deal with it if you still don't get it.

This is called a framer. I don't think it's ever been used on RB.

very strange nightkill, on top of very strange posting by saul last night, and muriel continuing to scream that she is scum.

my belief, before saul strange posting near end of night, was that saul is seer that gives opposite result. but hadnt thought of possible switching type role. i still think saul seer that give opposite result most likely though, as it concurs with my read on muriel.

muriels insistence that her role claim somehow cleared her i dont like at all. double vote could easy be scum or village, and unlike seer is not worth keeping alive. if muriel is as experienced as she claim she should know that her role claim would not change perception.

sticking with muriel

Thanks Will and Jon. Those appear to be proper roles, so it might be possible that one of them is in play and was used on Kate. We have to ponder about the targeting though. It was used on Kate on Night 2, but not on me on Night 1. It's.. kinda strange. I guess the reasoning could be that Muriel was suspected enough that you wouldn't need to frame her to get her miss-lynched. But was there really any other target a seer would have scanned on Night 1? I don't think so, so it doesn't make much sense to try to frame anyone else since there was a very high chance that Muriel was going to be scanned. If we do accept the reasoning that Muriel doesn't need to be framed, then it would make sense to frame Kate on Night 2 and for example Mary on Night 1, both villagers who were the third suspect after the lynched one and Muriel. I have to say though, I don't think we can trust the seer's results even if he was a real seer and Kate was framed or redirected on Night 2. But if we at some point we kill a wolf and he flips as a framer or a redirector, then we know that the wrong result was caused by that ability and we have a real seer.
