Any specific city/unit name suggestions or requests?
If it's a close race I vote we err on the side of less tasteful.
Well, if you say so...

"Your Hugh Jass has been intercepted by an enemy Destroyer."
"Your Dixie Normous has caused collateral damage."

A warrior has been built in Angelina. Hahaha
"Britney has grown to size 10."
"The borders of Adele have expanded."
"Mary-Kate has become unhealthy."
"Monica celebrates 'We Love The President Day'."
Certainly has some potential.

Hugh G. Reckshun has been born in a far away land!
But yeah, I love those! A theme of anything that would go into a message and make a 14 year old laugh would be great. Bonus points if it makes it into the public log.

Plako, glad you changed your decision.
There were other players who regularly used double moves to their advantage in Pitboss 7 (e.g. Mackseven), but mine were certainly the most openly discussed. Either way we agree the game was far from a success, and I'm quite happy to be playing without the stress of double moves in all future pitboss games.

Just a shame we can't name the great people before they're born. But yeah, I see all sorts of possibilities for juvenile amusement with this theme.

+1.
I was a totally uninvolved silent lurker at the time and I greatly feared for the future of PB games in RB while watching this unfold. It sure seemed at the time that Pitboss games couldn't work,...but it was just one bad apple really. Pitboss seems great once again in RB.

Please don't go there. Acting like its all a big misunderstanding when the chorus of legitimate criticisms were deafening really dashes any hopes that I had that you might have come around to a more reasonable viewpoint.
The fact that it came hot on the heels of the notoriously bad spirited PB4 timer manipulation really dilutes your credibility,...
I really hope to see you and your team play a great, clean game.

I think PB7 is a main reason why PB games are so much cleaner now on this site. It showed most emphatically why an "anything goes" game won't work, and that players need to have clear understanding of what is and isn't allowed before going in. "Casual" as a guiding principle just will never work - some people don't have casual in their nature and competitive spirits get hyper-amplified in this environment. With my interest being a lurker of this thread, it's better the more this is about a fair game going forward and not who did what in a game (which is only a game after all) long gone. Everyone on this site has grown since then and learned from each other is my view.

I see a lot of people commenting without even knowing the full picture regarding PB7. It wasn't a "anything goes" game, it had some guidelines and some strict rules, that no one seems to remember.
I have no problem with Lord Parkin and I'll never judge a person by what it does in a game. But the double moves weren't the only problems in that game (and there was a no-double moves rule, that happened to be not that effective and easily circumvented, when the spirit of it was disregarded). For instance, LP did engage more than one time in out of the diplo thread diplomacy, which was strictly forbidden. That has nothing to do with the interpretation of the word "casual". That was a straight up breaking of the rules of the game.
Again, I have no personal problem with any of the players of that game and I respect other people's opinion about what happened there. But I don't like when the facts are presented in a distorted/false way, either by lack of knowledge or whatever other reason.
