Hi Commodore, I haven't seen you here before - I'm loving the map by the way  We'd probably have just conceded to Trolls if it wasn't for SFL and the false hope it gave us...Kremlin isn't banned but Trolls got communism about 5 turns ago so I assume they're going to build it. None of our cities are particularly hammer-heavy either  - but I'd probably start building it somewhere where it stands a good chance of beating Trolls and get some fail gold for upgrades.

Just had a chat with HAK and they have a Great Prophet they don't know what to do with, so if we can beat Trolls to Physics without using our scientist for the bulb we can swap him and have our golden age... What do you think?

Just discovered that microing every city to max beakers (none of them actually starve, but its close) lets us get physics next turn...
 What say you team? If there is even a 5% chance that Trolls can 1-turn physics I think we have to do this. They've been slogging through Rifling for a while and I haven't seen them put anything into physics in that time, although they had a great scientist about 15 turns ago, I think they might have used him for a bulb already...  Should we just do it anyway?

That seems like a good idea--and besides, we want that Golden Age as soon as possible--how sure are you they haven't put anything into Physics? When did they get Scientific Method and Astronomy--after that scientist or before? The problem with Physics is that it's so high on the tree :/
Actually, none of that matters--if Trolls beat us to Physics and we can't convince M3 to just give us the prophet, we might as well concede--we need to do this now!!! Wait, Commodore is on our team? Since when? Or are global lurkers actually allowed to post in the team forums? (and is there any actual lurking going on with this game?  )Edit: Timski posted here way back (when the mass exodus happened) mentioning lurker talk, which appears to confirm lurkers can post here--which means I really want an answer to if anyone still cares about the game other than the (few) participants. As a related side note, since I looked back in the thread for some nostalgia (when I found Timski's post), I just realized this game has been going on for over a year--amazing

Okay, every city up to Quama is on research, some of the cities on SFL can get away with not doing it and carrying on with their programmed builds.
 Which means our GNP is actually close to Trolls for the first time that I've seen.  And nothing much is happening on power just yet.  I'm feeling a lot more confident than I did this morning!
