WW26: The Masquerade [Game Thread]

[The Narrator]

At this point, the scum have established an unassailable control over the game outcome, so the scum team has won the game!

The traitor and the wolves know of each other and who each other are, and have independently expressed that they will reveal to each other before next lynch, and therefore count as a combined voting bloc. If scum kill a villager tonight, they have majority and win. If they 'killed' the traitor, due to setup rules he would turn into a wolf instead of dying, and even with tied teams the village could not hold a tiebreaker for more than one day (village has control first day, lynch a scum with 4 influence, scum kill sir percival, and have voting tiebreaker control). Therefore there's no possible way for village left to win.

probably woulda been a better villager if I had focused more on hunting wolves than trying to figure out who was who.

I got serdoa, rowain, MJW, and uberfish right. oddly enough, I switched novice and Zak - I thought zak was Bert and novice was Jon. thats really funny.

I think our main problem was lack of scumhunting really, I found it hard at the start just trying to tell people apart, and then hated the game in the mid.

BTW my role was only 50% effective. If Id been a proper one I definitely would tried to hint at it/posted it at end.
I shot Saul (last night) half-nose N1, know-nothing N2, and Muriel N3.
So yeah, no wolves at all

Well I was right about Edith, Rose and richard. Not that anyone would have listened to me. The only villager I truly voted for was Muriel.

I'm glad this travesty is over. I did ask to be replaced because I felt attacked and insulted.

Muriel/Jowy I was offended by you and IMO you were the reason the village couldn't get any traction. You were a pure distraction and contributed little if anything. Even in the lurker thread after you continue to argue with circular egotistical logic. The game does not revolve around you but you made it that way.

I believe the format was an impossible task for the village and left people free to act badly. I knew things would get lost so I tried to play as close to my normal style as possible.

I also never lied and I was frustrated by all the people saying I did. I did not have a lot of time this game so I had no way of putting in the herculean effort to quote more posts. I have a baby, my family (5 people) were visiting from the states and I had to take them around sighseeing for two weeks. My in-laws came to my place with the baby so I've been living with them as well. Not only was this game frustrating but the lack of time and my frustrating personal situation only exacerbated this. I truly wanted to be replaced or have this game ended.

I will not play in the next few games. I am still quite angry at a number of people. I thought I held in my outbursts quite well. Serdoa, Sometimes I love you sometimes I hate you. This game I hated you and thought you were truly cruel.

Yeah, I was pretty pissed at Serdoa at the end too, but for different reasons. Sorry this took a lot out of you Lewwyn I thought you played a good villager game, to be honest. And Jowy's roleplaying would probably have driven me nuts too if I was village

I love how the wolf thread is basically all about how terrible Jowy played. Jowy I hope you read it and understadn that Villagers and wolves alike thought you tore the village apart. I'm still furious at you.
