[spoilers]Oh Canada! Victoria has a Commodore, eh?

Well, it's not what we'd call "optimal" in a long-term sense, but what second city is? This is a good second city; shares fp farm and three cottages, gets copper, gold, and wet corn...nod Nice thing is, with copper first-ring a monument isn't even that long of a build, although of course its still not ideal to have to build one at all. Fin Gold mine will be important to carry the early research.*

The only problem with this city is that we won't be able to build a Feitoria.

With only two water tiles I don't think you care about a feitoria.

Played: Pitboss 18 - Kublai Khan of Germany Somalia | Pitboss 11 - De Gaulle of Byzantium | Pitboss 8 - Churchill of Portugal | PB7 - Mao of Native America | PBEM29 Greens - Mao of Babylon

Well, we'd like as many good coast cities as we can settle... but the land is not good for that scared

Aye, it's got issues; but feitorias are at least a hundred and fifty turns away...mostly, I dislike how awkward it makes the dotmap elsewhere. But, it's close, it's fast, and I could get two axes and a spear heading down to Vikingland *very* fast with it. Worker incoming, whipped soon...

Okay, this is just absurd. Of course, it's a pretty so-so endgame city, but early on...stagnate at size four or six working golds, oasis, riverside farms. If, always if, I can dispatch Pindicooter swiftly and take their capital area, this early commerce location will be vital.

So, turn 21, and we're falling behind. Finishing the warrior delayed the worker long enough for it to be more efficient to whip it out, so we're in slavery now, about to have us a worker, who will then acquire us a settler via choppage.

Micro, for the interested:

Discovered a lot more this turn. Lion might make me extremely sad; see the current odds displayed and add +25% to the warrior as he'll be defending on a hill at least. That's dicier than I'd like, and miserably enough won't even yield a promotion. I have a plan for Mortiusing them even if they grow shortly and put the kibosh on the current beeline, but let's see if the warrior can survive first.

Also notable, with the third near plains cow I think I'm being trolled.
