Hitting CFC first seems bad because we probably need rifles to take down cannons, since we can't throw the kitchen sink at them. (Attacking C1 cannons with muskets requires ~2.5 muskets per cannon)
Cannons can't get C1. Otherwise, I agree with this strategy (and I think I outlined something similar earlier).
Slow down Apolyton and try to deny them mobility.
Try to hit CFC early and burn down their stupid border city, if we get the opportunity to do so.
Try to crush CivPlayer's army.
To me, basically every city in a northeasternly line through Ditchdigger is disposable. Mano, The Gauntlet can be sacrificed, and so can Ditchdigger. I think Beyaz Paynir and Doppelgänger can be good spots to take a stand against Apolyton if they go east, otherwise Tree Huggers.
And we need to clear out the remaining jungle around Tree Huggers.
Furthermore, I consider that forum views should be fluid in width

Well Poly is bringing a combination of Jannisaries and Rifles. They also bothered to waste hammers on FP so they might not be cranking out that many units.

Should this come to pass, let's all agree right now it was our large stack of Catapults that deterred our opponents.

If that happens (it really might) we'll go burn some bordering cities just to pay them back for screwing with us like that. It'll be therapeutic.

FP is worth like 5 units, right? It's no secret their main threat is rifles, which are drafted. It's just a question of how much siege and old stuff they're bringing too.

Ease the cultural tension a bit.
If there is none, we make it up!

Ah, forgot that cannons can't get combat. Okay, that means we only need to spend about 2 muskets per cannon. Will we really have a sufficient quantity of muskets that we can commit enough to the east to kill them when they walk up to Starfall? Maybe, maybe not. Keeping track of CFC's cannon count is probably the most important C&D work there is at the moment, because it will inform whether it's plausible to hold onto Starfall, and that will inform which way we send a whole bunch of units.
Also, I note that C1 charge (or pinch, if that works on cannons) knights get 70% odds on cannons. Perhaps the cost of smashing CFC's stack won't be as high as I previously imagined, even without rifling in our pocket.
Finally, it seems that defending is plausible without rifling given that, so I'm not as wary about whipping a round of units on the back of the round of cats in all our commerce cities.

I don't think pinch works on cannons.

cannons can get barrage promotions, city raider, and drill.
Please don't go. The drones need you. They look up to you.
