Let's not stir up trouble with a marginal border plant. We just want to tech in peace right now for some forlorn hope. Mail off extension proposal. You also may want to PM a copy to HitAnyKey as the primary turn player.

This is fine.

Mailed this off to M3:

We propose an NAP extension until T220.

Rejuggled the cities according to The Plan:
I put the Merchants in Sale because the GP will spawn there before the one in Ile a Vache, because Sale is before Ile a Vache in the list of cities.
I will be out from the 5th to the 7th, can you cover for me?

GP cities are on schedule. Economics tech came in EOT. We have a bank completing in Barbados for significant gain and we have enough gold in the bank for a turn of 100% so I think we should research this turn and the save gold next turn rather than vice versa.
On that note, what is our next tech? I just selected Liberalism but didn't really think about it.
Santiago had a grassland cottage unworked, so I swapped Melaka from a plains cottage to steal the shared grassland cottage from Santiago. We can transfer this back once Santiago grows, but the swap sped up growth at Melaka by a turn for no cost (effectively swapping a plains cottage for grassland). We want to keep growing Santiago until it can stagnate on as many grassland cottages as possible + 2 plains to be food neutral.

Free Speech is inferior to Bureaucracy at the moment, and that doesn't look like it'll be shifting for a while, so Liberalism can probably wait... I'm internally debating between Steam Power and Steel->Railroads. Levees will be great with our cottaged river cities. Slight lean towards Steam Power.

If heading for RR without need for Cannon immediately, Steam first is ok.

Heh, went to play and saw that you'd already logged in.

I wasn't sure if you were back, so I went ahead and played. GPP plan is on schedule, with Sale's completing EOT. I moved the workers around aimlessly building roads because I couldn't see much else to do with them
I already set up the 3 GPP cities for next turn according to the plan. You can double check them when you go to play T190, but they should already be correct.
NE is a 4-turn build now, but we can speed it a turn with the one remaining forest in the area. It didn't matter whether I chopped this turn or next so I left that for you to decide (it's been pre-chopped 2/3 already). It may even drop 2 turns off ETA but I didn't do the math. Next turn we pop the GA so this may speed up NE as well.
Not sure if this is old news or new news, but Q does have a stack of units hanging out near our border. I don't know whether to take this as a threat or not. In talks with Q in the past he doesn't seem to take NAP's as totally binding so there's room for suspicion. I think we have sufficient force in the area to deal with the current stack, but let's keep our eye on this.

Set research to 0%. Small good news in the plan, we have 2 more food in Sale than planned:
