Isn't there a way that our "group" on chess.com can challenge other groups? I've done it on other groups that I'm a part of - where basically you take your group and play the same number of people in another group, ranked from high to low. Each player plays 2 games against 1 person from the other team.

Would anyone have any interest in that?

Yes it is possible. I don't really have the access to do it right now, gustaran I think is a group admin and should be able to do it if there is an interest

Indeed, I have access to the "create new match" option within our group. However, I don't really understand all the options: How do you make sure both teams have the same number of players? And how do you specify which players from the group participate in the match? Because I don't think every player of the RB group wants to play...

From what I understand, once a match is started, then people from both teams sign up - not everyone in a group has to play. Then however many people signup, they order them highest rated to lowest, and play.

So if we had 6 people playing and the other group only had 5, then our lowest rated person wouldn't play

(i think?)

I read some help files and the FAQ and it is possible to set a minimum and maximum number of players for the match. So far we are only 3, anyone else want to join?

I PMd a couple of the people that have played chess here before in case they aren't looking at this thread - we'll see if any of them show up

I suggest 24 hours per move, so everyone please make sure this time limit is ok for you.
