[SPOILERS] The Rise of Lewger: A BacoN of Bacon Revenge (bacOn bAcoNbAcon) Bacon

We have options.

Fishing
Pottery
AH
Myst

I think the first two are more important. But do we go fishing or pottery first? I'm considering the pre-req on pottery might be worth it. Pottery we need for MC>forge>GE>Machinery.

AH for horses, but do we need them if we have copper?

Myst for monuments? We need a monument for our copper city to be good with fish.

So considering all that...

Fishing>Pottery>Myst? to start? then maybe onto writing and math before MC.

damnt, I'm kinda pissed at LP, and whoever founded hinduism (no revolt, so I don't know). we really should have had a shot at one of them after hunting in any reasonable game, but I guess I should expect that in a 18 person game (grumble).

I'm really hoping it was Scooter or nakor/jester. it occurs to me that if one of those civs doesnt found a religion, all 4 of us on this damn island could potentially be pagan barbarians until very late in the game (Azza sure as hell isn't going to found a religion, and with an early metal casting it will be hard for us to get to any of the religious techs in time except for divine right). which kind of sucks because I want a religion and a shrine - it would almost certainly get spread to every city in all 4 civs for a lot of $$. But any plan to get one right now would be terrible frown.

I hate building monuments, but im not sure we have a choice. fishing-pottery is good. next depends.. will our third city be founded by then? are you planning monument before granary in c3? I wouldnt mind doing AH first if we can afford to wait on the monument - we don't need horses, but it won't hurt, and might change our future city placement, or might be in a convenient spot in a city we've already settled, who knows.

at least c2 probably won't need a monument for awhile, with access to gems and grassland pigs

Well we won't have pottery finished before City 3 is settled unless that gems boost is more than I expected. This is a huge game so getting a religion just might not be in the cards for a long while. We just weren't a position to found a religion.

We'll build monuments where we have to. Barracks are also an option meaning we don't tech myst and can go in another direction quickly. But barracks are also not cheap. I think city 3's first build will be a WB which will scout until it can build some culture and pop borders.

No sign of pindi's scout, maybe that sat in place for two turns to heal (were at .8 health). Maybe they got eaten by that panther that was following.

Should I scout NE or W with the warrior? Though maybe it should double back to protect the settler out in 3 turns.

Time for REVENGE?

I think double back, we'll be really screwed if we lose that settler and there isn't much left to scout anyway - and nothing that would change our plan. the scout will get to that jungle eventually, or another warrior.

Hey. Did we ever do one of those opponent evaluations? we're losing in thread views pretty hard.
