In a situation where they can see all our movements using Airships it might be best to just keep most of our units stacked and march towards their capital through Jemmy. Smallish Cavalry stack could be left behind assuming our main stack is big enough not to lose significantly to their counter attack. That could threaten their holdings especially in the south, but potentially also close to Halbred (Northernmost border city)

We really want to fight the big battle against their main forces as soon as possible. That would leave their mainland free to be captured without significant resistance. This is most likely to happen when they defend their capital.

The geography in the south is quite nice for us and we can potentially even keep the cities there since they'll have a hard time launching a counter attack.

We'll get pretty close to 50-50-50 (Rifles-Cavs-Cannons) composition of troops assuming we upgrade most of our siege and Knights. Sea side cities are building Frigates and one of the questions is if we should finish Steam Power and build some Ironclads for defense oe would we be better of using all our gold reserves for upgrading.

We should also consider what civics to choose at end of our GA. Representation+State Property+Slavery seem pretty certain. Another 2 civics are not that obvious.

I think we should upgrade everything, maybe even our caravels?
I have to run.

Just eyeballing the soldier numbers, we don't appear to have an insurmountable lead just yet. So I'd save up cash and keep the option open of blowing it all on upgrades. I think that may be more effective than researching steam power. (Railroad would be great though.)

Few thigs I'm currently thinking. Main stack heads towards capital including all the 1 movers I can collect and about half of the mounted. The other half of the mounted is ready to join the main stack later, but chills around somehwere between OTR-Weissbier to protect against potential sea invasiosn against our most valuable main land cities. Island cities and most of the cities in the north I'll leave to do as they're i.e. if they get invaded by superior sea invasion or surprise land invasion through someone elses land we'll lose them. They'll mostly have 1-4 defenders. Typically rifle and some obsolete crap.

In the sea I'll focus most our forces near OTR and depending on their sea force size either progress to cut their supply lines from island or defend. We won't have many galleons, but I could fill couple of them a bit later to take some easy pickings from islands.

I'll also upgrade al our trebs/cats and Knights. I'll leave Caravels for the moment, but if nescessary that can be done also later.

Epee is pretty well defended against a cavalry attack.

Judging by the directions of those cannons, they are staging on this tile.

We could hit Halberd with 2-movers from M3's territory, though.

Yeah they're very heavy on pikes that is good for us, when our main plan is to use slow movers and hit their capital with slow moving SOD. With Cannons in play those pikes are useless.

btw. We could do one of Mackoti's trademark moves and attach our GG to catapult - take free upgrade to Cannon and upgrade it to city Raider + that Mobility promo. That would be pretty good support unit for a cavalry stack, when we want to attack cities defended mainly by Pikes.

Not sure we want to use 3M's territory. Diplo situation could become messy.

That's a good move nod.

Yeah, that might be a good move. Unfortunately I already upgraded all the catapults. :/ We could still do it, of course.

Did anyone ever try making a super-withdrawal-unit with the tactics promotion? I guess that isn't so useful when large numbers are involved. Better suited for cracking a single super-defender. We could also look for opportunities to use the land/promote to morale/attack trick.

Perhaps the best use is simply to sprinkle XP on ten 3XP/0XP units. That's ten additional promotions.

Better leave GG unused at this point. Depending what happens we might need those extra promos or find out that Super Cannon would be useful to take some of their backline cities out fast with Cavalries.

If there is enough gold to finish Steam Power at some point, we could also build few Ironclads park them to protect our Frigate stacks from SoLs. With Drydocks+Theocracy we could make them a bit more mobile too.
