Yup it works. I started a new game, then saved that map. It can then be edited / checked in WB (I didn't do this part). And I could choose it in MP and hot seat.

Just to be clear, this has nothing to do with the current standing of PBEM 2. I just want to fix a MP game to enjoy the game, because I don't like SP (well, probably going to play a game or two, just to test things a bit).

Well, I'd need to buy BNW first, and considering how much pbem2 has turned me off to Civ5 multiplayer I'm not sure that's going to happen.
