Just a thought:
Would I be allowed to offer to swap spaces with somebody for some type of in game arrangement if I wanted to? Like a lump sum of gold?

Speaking not as a moderator of RBCiv but as someone playing in this game, I'd be against this too. It seems excessively gamey, and very difficult to work out a deal with teams that haven't been met in-game. Besides, athlete gets his choice of any leader or civ in the game to start, which isn't all that bad.

So Speaker and I are right in the middle? That could be good or bad, depending on what the rest of you pick! :neenernee

After thinking about it... I can't fully work out the evil spy problem so I am going to assume that there must be something bad out there that I can't think of or haven't run into, and must be significantly bad, for the much more experienced sunrise to have brought up the idea in the first place

so... I guess...

Passive = No spies > No restrictions > No espionage

There are some Espionage missions that are not well balanced like the Switch Civics that doesn't take into account the size of the economy of the nation. I suggest we prohibit using this mission, even if I like to have espionage on.

Got a small tech question for you guys. I recently downloaded BAT mod and haven't had time to try it outside of singleplayer yet. It claims not to alter any gameplay and is supposed to be fine with multiplayer, but still I want to confirm, does BAT work with pitboss / am I allowed to us it?

Agreed. Both "influence civic" and "influence religion" missions have fixed costs, independent of civilization's size. I understand you want to ban them both.
