I made no mistakes. No one on my bench scored more than anyone I played. CURSES~!

Was this part of your rules last season? Hate to be the nit, but I'm in favor of a deadline.

Can the deadline be when the last regular season week starts? I don't think there was ever much consensus about the deadline.

Deadline was off last year, but I can absolutely turn it back on if it's a point of contention.

Actually, let's talk about what we want now. I'm generally in favor of just shutting off stuff like that, because those rules are mostly in place to prevent an out-of-the-playoffs team from just handing free players to a playoff team, and I trust everyone not to purposely do stuff like that. I'm good with whatever the majority prefers though.

edit: Cyneheard's middle grounds position actually sounds fine. Trades not being allowed in the playoffs seems pretty reasonable.

No trades in the playoffs sounds good to me. I trust people here not to throw good players at a playoff team in the final weeks.

Scooter, can you veto trades as the commissioner? If so I'm fine with the playoff trading deadline or just with no deadline and you having oversight in the event someone did an unsportsmanlike trade (and effectively removed themselves from future years of this league).

Cyneheard's proposal is fine with me. Not having been in the league last year, I just wanted to clarify what the league's norms are. I don't anticipate anyone pulling any shenanigans, and I'm certainly not gearing up to angle-shoot anyone.

Doesn't that mean you picked the wrong people in the draft? mischief
