Azza whipped 3 cities... I don't know if I can afford to send the axe after the hut. Damn.

Somebody seems to be playing to win rather than solely for lurker amusement. Maybe if there were more blood...

I would comment more, but I can think of nothing to say. You seem to have everything so well in hand!
What about a mid-game hypothetical. Do you think that you and Scoopin can coexist peacefully once your borders start pressing against each other, or do you have an eye on a renaissance war with them?
Looking at that map, your land is so much better than Jestercor's its depressing. I haven't been reading their thread, but I imagine they're going to be a little peeved when they see your start, if they haven't already.
Any comments on Commodore spawning next to Pindicooter again?

I'm going to need IW and more workers when we start settling the jungle area. I think relations with scoopin will depend on the way they settle and whether they absorb jestacore. I think we'll have more issue with Azza, but I'm hoping we can avoid war with him and avoid an arms race. I don't think we can afford to tech IW befoe CoL which means we'll be settling south (which is good for building a stable defense against Azza), but we will need at least ivory. I do think we did well with our land grab against Azza.
Commadore, Scoopin, jestacore, myself and Azza. WTF. It really is insane. Not much more to say other than this is even more of a PB8 redux than I originally thought. But this time I think we might be able to get a little further ahead. I'm happy with our development over scoopins. They have no cottages. Technicaly we aren't working ours yet, but still ahead. Their traits are good though, ugh.
Given that comm is their northern neighbor I think Scoopin'll want peace with us. Evidenced of course by the map trade. As a result we might be able to sneak attack them later. Grab marble? Maybe their gems city once its placed? I think we have to keep it in mind because otherwise they are in good position to swallow jestacore + expand north and then use those good traits to tech ahead.
Due to Azza's triple whip I think I must keep the axe at home. T82 is that hut still there? it takes Scoopin 9 turns to reach the hut from their nearest city. That means they have 12 turns to build an axe to grab it.
Azza, oh Azza. You permanent thorn in my side. Someday, I will crush you.

Eff it I'm going for the hut. XD
The barb might be a problem we'll see. But I'm sending the axe after the hut. To compensate I'm starting an axe in the south. Once it has 5 hammers it's whippable I'll start a barracks or granary, I haven't decided. If at any point I need an extra axe there I will whip the axe. After 10 turns I'll be at size 4 and have enough hammers into a barracks or granary to 2 pop whip it. Then whip the axe. Though I will likely whip the axe before that. I also have two warriors in the city that in an emergency can be upgraded. City should be safe.
Had a thought. Will Azza go for catapults? That could ruin us. I'm sure he's not close yet, but I think Construction or HBR after CoL is going to be a necessity. I hope we can tech fast enough. Though I'll be watching Azza's power graph.

Well I did have a comment or rather a question, but Im still a bit fuzzy on the spoiled lurker rules here. I only know that all your neighbours are planning to pink dot you from reading their threads, so asking about how you plan to defend/react to that seems wrongish, and waiting to see how it plays out is a large part of the lurking fun. But what I would like a comment on is rather how they all, indepently, state that their pink dots are a "free" action, since you have been playing like a pussy lately.
Would it be ok to ask how you feel about that or should I post in the lurkerthread instead?

Sorry Lewwyn, my loyalties must always be to Melbourne...
I'm just trying to get people talking. If anyone thinks I cross a line I will happily quiet down again and return to the shadows.
