Sorry for slacking.
I agree with going for the hut if there's no power rise from Azza. I can't think of anywhere he'd settle with the (presumed) whipped settler that would interfere with your land sufficiently for us to want to invade, and unless there are big rises I don't see him invading anytime soon.
I doubt Scooter will go for it either, but it can't pop any big techs so pop ASAP is definitely the right move.
Of course by this point you've decided anyway.
Is it worth a map trade with Jester?

You did what I wanted as well. I think an axe and spear will suffix on the azza border, but an axe that can be whipped in an emergency is a good safety plan. Now lets all pray for an iron working pop

Well I did have a comment or rather a question, but Im still a bit fuzzy on the spoiled lurker rules here. I only know that all your neighbours are planning to pink dot you from reading their threads, so asking about how you plan to defend/react to that seems wrongish, and waiting to see how it plays out is a large part of the lurking fun. But what I would like a comment on is rather how they all, indepently, state that their pink dots are a "free" action, since you have been playing like a pussy lately.
Would it be ok to ask how you feel about that or should I post in the lurkerthread instead?
I understand... MOAR BLOOD!

Technically, I have an axe, spear and two warriors in the city. But yes, currently Azza's graph has remained flat. I worry about 3 whips a little bit, but I don't think he can bring enough to take the city. I may have to whip the axe sooner than later though to make sure he realizes that.

It might simply make them sad.

Whoops logged out without taking a picture. In any case, Azza did in fact whip at least two units during his triple whip and his power now is ahead of ours. I will be whipping the axe ASAP in 3 turns. If he has axes we may be pressured into upgrading... Depends on how fast he gets up to us. If he has chariots then we're fine because I've seen spears kill 6 chariots. 2 or 3 is nothing.
Hopefully it is a defensive force. He would gain nothing by attacking us except to slow us both down.

Really Azza?
If he leaves that chariot there next turn, I will kill it.
I don't understand why he would show his hand like this? It is aggressive and threatening and provoking. And dumb. He's basically showing his hand. And does he really think I will leave myself open on the SE side too if he tries to go that way with the chariot?
I'm going to move my workers into position to road to that hill next turn.

Azza, you are such a dick.
Whipped the settler and then started the spear, so the settler won't be born yet. Azza moved his chariot there as you can see. Next turn I will move my spear in Bacon! NE-N. I will also move both workers onto the spear tile as well. If Azza attacks and moves his chariot into my land I kill it. If he moves the chariot back to the hill with the warrior, I road next to the hill and kill it with my axe next turn. If he moves onto Site X I consider whipping the spear in the capital and I might start a spear in bacon to whip if he tries to run up the coast on me. Basically he is just super annoyinng.
I guess he could have another chariot and and an axe on the tile I can't see next to his copper with two workers. If I move the spear out he might road and war dec and kill my axe with a chariot out of the fog. Maybe I leave the spear at home, but then I can't whip the spear in the capital if he does move in on me... Oh I know, I move the axe up out of the city instead since I'll be on the offensive. Leave the spear in the city.

I'm going to move the axe + 1 warrior NE-N, let the spear slowbuild in BACON w/ a chop and chop another forest for the lib instead. Slowbuild spear takes 3 turns.
Ah doesn't matter. Basically I've got it figured out and it should only delay the library 1 turn maybe? And City X by a couple turns.
I know Azza is attempting to get me to move the spear out of Bacon! I think he's trying to sneak Bacon! with a chariot in the fog. I can feel it in my gut. He knows where our horses are and knows that is a likely next city site so he's forcing an extra spear build or make us more our current spear. I'm going to try and make it cost him that chariot.
