Made the turn, still not too much exciting stuff that goes on at the moment. Flying russian has an eye on the northern territory belonging to xenu, not a city where it was thought to be, so moving further north to rendezvous with Kuro in 7-8 turns and getting some exploring done there.
Cities are ticking over nicely, changed to barracks in Renewal for long term benefit. 3t to pop and then 2-3t after that is barracks and archer the turn after.
Exploring more of Suttree's lands seeing more small cities and settlements, making me wonder what kind of big boomers he has further into the fog.

I saw your message and answered directly in the Tech thread. Should have answered here as well but I was omw to work.
Turn made. Found Suttree's capital, and discovered xenu has some good expansion in the north(screencap).
Lesson will be ready next turn with a missionary for Renewal, making it able to start recapping culture again. Renewal has turned toward building a granary and in 2 turns will make pop3 thus enabling more hammers and faster build time. Learning is steadily making more defenders, and Lesson will also join in that after completing missionary. I have an option to get a settler in 5 turns now with Lesson. I may go that way since time is of the essence and I really would like to nab that iron while I still have a chance.
Reason why Renewal is making with the granary instead of it's own defenders is due to my moving forces from both Lesson and Learning to balance out all my cities. 2axe/2chariot/2spear/2archer is what I am going for here. Meaning that I will be building a buttload of units to make enough defence for the 4th city(may it come to fruition).

Small measures to update. Buddhist is done this turn, settler next for 6turns - then another missionary(to keep that mojo working) and defenders, defenders, defenders. I would like to make a map that displayed the world in a way that did not go beyond the 720p mark and still be detailed. Oh well.. I have sent an OB invite to BGN hoping that he accepts, and if he does I will go beyond his waters into the dark green of Kuro to find out what the deuce he is up to. Perhaps wage a small war against his fishing grounds if they are unprotected. I mean, would that be evil/wrong/jerk of me considering my current goal?

Bugger, After I ended turn two of my units moved within my own territory. Dammit. Update after dinner.
This turn I found what Suttree has done, encircling my lands with more settlements. I have a big problem in the future if this keeps up. He may very well just sit there and do nothing about me and let culture run its course. Dammit.
I do have a better view of his lands as well, particularly around his Capital(screencap). Renewal has found religion in Buddha, and that is one fine added point of culture to that city. Now the settler is being built, and I really hesitate to use my two forests on that. I decided against chopping them for the settler since it takes only 5 turns to build. Meanwhile, Oxy has halted the trade of Copper/Crab but keeping the OB. Xenu has agreed to my OB proposal and the flying russian is moving on towards uncharted territory. I have eyes on xbowmen belonging to Xenu, and I am only expecting that Suttree has some advanced units as well coming up. My longbowmen may come very much in handy in the future defense of my settlements. Lesson built an Archer that rejoices in the name 'Students of Kuro'. The two units that moved were 2 chariots from Lesson to the new settlement location. I do not like the view of Xenu's units to the west, as he may be going for a settlement himself. Perhaps not such a bad idea after all to chop that settler. Hmm..

check out Xenu's pb8 thread. He was utterly eliminated from contention, and so set about making himself as spiny and unpalatable as possible for the surrounding powers. that's our goal.
I don't think the capital will fall to culture, don't worry about it too much unless suttree builds sistine chapel. also, do you have feudalism done? I missed it.

Holy Extended Screenplaywriters Version Batman! Can it be? Has Suttree over extended himself? Within 2 turns he has lost 2 border cities to Oxyphenbutazone.
I am very much reconsidering the capture of Knoxville with all the glorious culture therein. But to do that I need an army. A large army. At least 6 axes, leaving little for the defense afterwards apart from the glorious longbowmen. I really feel like going that route. It would be a two-pronged assault for Suttree to deal with, but the downside is all the other cities he has, capable of slaving more units. I need more longbowmen. But wait, there's more!
My word.. could it be? I was considering turning it down when I figured that Moloch is one of those I have no eyes on whatsoever. So I said yes, and got this.
The Flying Russian is en route back home with no current objective now that Kuro has been mapped out. Going into a war for the cause of maybe wrecking one fishing tile was deemed not worth it. Two reincarnations of Ceiliazul are mapping Suttree further, looking for weakness. He has many cities, but few defenders that are visible. I may end up doing what he did to me, using two workers to make a land route in the plains before attacking with a larger force. I am certainly on the theoretical side here, but it is invigorating. What I should be doing is have one chariot move to the front to ascertain the actual damage done to Suttree. If he has sacrificed those cities to keep a better income and retreated with large stacks to his own cities then it is a no go. Intel is a must!
Molochia and Wetbanditry, with a hint of Oxypaxia:
Kurochia:
Williamsland:
Suttrea:
