Because, in terms of offical scoring, it's just a pass, since it wasn't on a special teams play or anything, like a kickoff or punt or field goal (After all, a fake field goal is faking a special teams play and instead running an offensive play).

Assuming they didn't decide to count it on ST while I was looking for the play and had it replayed on my stream.

No running game, defense is weaker than it has been for a while, combined this means Eli has to throw more and while Eli can be good, he is also prone to forcing it, resulting in INTs. They really wish they had a RB. Maybe they could trade for Ahmad now that the Colts have Trent.
