Now, with this information I have taken a closer look at my cities and made lesson whip the barracks for 5 turns earlier xp units and -1pop, with growth in 3t.
Lesson has a tough choice coming. Should it wait for 3 turns with the settler, then use the forest for a single chop to get 2 longbowmen with +3xp faster?
With the kind of style I go for here, the new settlement could be set to chop aggressors to retake knoxville post haste.
It is a very bold and possibly stupid move, but oh my it is something that just may work!
Renewal is set on the Granarytrain for the next 6 turns, there is little to do for this little village so far, grow/defend/build.

Since this is friday, the vibe is good and the 'embed' setting does not work:

Suggestion: use the screenshot tag instead of the img tag for your pictures. Your images are very wide, and I hate horizontal scrolling.

Thank you for that input Dave. Will do that on the next update and see if I can retrofix some of the older posts as well, as time allowes.

Turn made earlier today, got hung up with RL so here comes the report, input served directly to a screen in front of YOU!
Dat stack. I look at it and go: "No, nothing to see here officer. The droids have gone that-a-way. Healthy? Me?! No, no, no, I'm all skin and bones and spikes and longbow arrows. Not healthy to consume at all." Joke aside, I checked the demographics and wow;
Suttree has got his ass handed to him by Oxy. Special report coming in within 2 turns from a chariot in the field.
Apart from that I have little to report. Movement showed more of Suttree's lands. He has a lot of cities with low defenses. Settler is ticking along, as well as Longbowmen in Learning and Granary in Renewal.
*PS! does this work better for you Dave?

There was a short war(1-2 turns) initiated by Kuro, at the moment unable to login to check. Will have an answer tomorrow at the latest. Going to work soon.

My main concern should be BGN since he is now moving more units down to the city across my border. I fear my days may be numbered before long if BGN decides to move. Then I can only defend, defend, defend.
I whipped the longbow in Learning, 12 turns earlier for 1pop. Granary is done in Renewal in 3turns, I got a buddhist missionary done in 2 turns from Lesson.
Now check this out:
Right... Noble Gas found a gathering of peaceful men lounging about where Suttree had owned land before. These guys are impressive considering the 3rd last place that Oxy has. If he goes rampaging against Suttree, I'll be moving on Knoxville, but not before. Suttree is too strong alone. Also..
I wonder if the powercurve of BGN has anything to do with the civics he has. Representation+Caste system=power? Perhaps, if he goes researching the right stuff.
Oh, and I am really looking forward to gaining demographics of Kuro so I can see his curves beneath me.
...
Um.
No further comment.

no such luck, civics may be powerful but they don't show up on the graph. techs do, but you can only know the spike is from a tech if you watch the scoreboard or tech table (after alphabet)
don't take your foot off the defender building. ever. An opportune strike to recapture your holy city would be good though... if you can hold it! keep up the good work, and hope for the best.

Sheesh, I am looking at preludes to war. Oxy is building momentum but he cannot hope to stand against Suttree if he waits longer. At least, that is how it looks from the troop buildup. Oxy has a surplus of Axes, Suttree has a surplus of Horse Archers. This will depend on where the battle takes place. Oxy needs to demolish that army, but with the river in place Suttree can play a game of cat and mouse while he builds a plethora of forces to combat on his terms. Oxy has more troops at this point, but Suttree has the greater advantage in building, as far as I can see.
I have completed my fourth city, Thesis. Longbowman is on the way from Learning. Will chop a granary with the forest/hill to get a mine up and running. Missionary underway from Lesson.
