and given that cfc's early dotmap/micro was bad IMO, I couldn't figure out how they went from the early shaky micro to a flawlesss taj build

Good for him. I name him Benedict Arnold, but otherwise, good job Mack. Team Mids, indeed. I do feel better about things now, oddly. And scooter, I'm guessing you feel pretty vindicated for your support for Cuirs, which in hindsight would have been better than having neither while we got carved up.
I guess there's plenty of time later for MMQB-type stuff. I'm still proud of our team's effort in this game, though perhaps next time around we should try harder to keep more of our people from becoming disinterested, however that happened (I am emphatically not placing blame on anyone here). I think the brain-drain, and WPC's ineptitude leading to our overreach, are pretty big reasons why things have turned out as they have.

I don't think that a different CFC turnplayer would have us not face a gazillion Rifles and Cuirassiers in the West, though.

Not that it matters now, but we would've dealt with the western threat differently had CFC not joined in. It's all water under the bridge now anyway.

Okay, so whatever doubt we may have had of CFC winning the game post-RB is definitely gone now.
