Yeah, thanks for letting me team up with you Jowy, and sorry for hogging all the turnplaying.
However, BGN's song seems to have inspired our troops:
I stacked our last 2 chariots and the warrior in Dr Tachyon to defend and whipped a third chariot. His army is a bit smaller:
I also whipped Jetboy, Sleeper and chopped a chariot in Fortunato(now 1W of Jetboy):
These guys are not getting out alive.
Unfortunately, Dr Tachyon might not survive either and dtay finally settled our super copper spot:
We just got a trade route to pindicooter though, they like selling strategic resources to piss off potential rivals right?
I'm thinking of offering them horses for copper next turn when our next 2 chariots complete.
Lost Dr Tachyon, finally killed all those units off. We should probably be able to stalk that lone axeman to his death as well. I'm sending the axe towards dtay's latest city, will follow up with the chariots as well. If it's defended, I think we take the chariots and head towards his core, seems like there's a lot of forking opportunities there.
Pindicator declared war on us, presumably to move his galley through, so no copper trade yet. He's stayed away from our nets though. I put all the EPs back on dtay, don't really see a point in anything else.
Jetboy is starting a settler, it will probably triple whip it for more unhappiness. I'm thinking of founding Dr Tachyon 2S, to take the capital's pigs since the capital is so unhappy. Hope for a free religion spread to get the clams again.
I still have tech turned off, need to make a decision there next turn I think:
Maths -> Construction
HBR
Monarchy -> Feudalism
We get the GP in 20 turns, and it's pretty clear that leaving a shrine for dtay is a bad idea now. So, I like the idea of using it for a GA to push out Feudalism and revolt to Vassalage/HR on the last turn. I don't think we can get out Maths -> construction first, HBR might be possible.
Got peace with pindicator, dtay offered as well, but I didn't feel like it.
If he wants to attack again, I think we can continue being more trouble than we're worth for a little while and we are well and truly out anyway. I want to see if we can catch his retreating axe and if our chariots can't cause him some trouble.
We do have a settler coming out next turn, we could take the 10t peace and grab the other copper spot but I still hope to get some copper off pindicator and other spots can give better output.
I set research for HBR in the vague hope that we can get through Monarchy and Feudalism as well in the next 28 turns.
Sorry for slacking off, but solo games have action and they take priority
Dtay isn't going for Construction so he's not planning to take us out. HA's sound more fun than longbows.
It's np Jowy. I'm not sure we'll get a chance to get a second prophet but the shrine is a long term play and I'm really not sure we'll make it to the long term right now. What do you think of the Colossus too? Again I don't want to leave any goodies for dtay but we have no cottages on T82, might have to bite the bullet on that one.
Pindicator wanted Ivory for copper btw, which I declined.
Anybody want to guess the result of this fight?
Victory and a GG for dtay . We got another peace offer from him at the start of the turn, might be time to accept and wait for HBR.
