[SPOILERS] The Rise of Lewger: A BacoN of Bacon Revenge (bacOn bAcoNbAcon) Bacon

Forgot pictures, but the important news is MoM fell. Judging by the score increases it was... plako. GAME OVER MAN. GAME OVER! The only good possibility would have been Scoopin. I believe Mac and Scoopin both have calendar and Scoopin had marble. But plako getting MoM and GLH and apparently has no natural enemies(ie: strong players in his vicinity to keep him in check) = pb8. My new prediction is that Plako wins again. I don't see anyway that we can stay peaceful and as such we'll likely fall behind him. I actually think we could have gotten MoM if we'd gone for it instead of Confu. But SPI makes a religion even more valuable to us, and MoM slightly less valuable to us.

In other news confu has spread to a 3rd Azza city, his capital.

I whipped the two settlers and we're on track to settle 1 city t102 and 1 city t103 now. I realized I could speed up the micro on the plains city by a turn. It delays military reinforcements by 2 turns but we'll already have 3 units on the island and no barbs in sight.

We get Priesthood EOT and Start a temple next turn. Then whip it t100 and we will have a shrine by t132.

I don't have any pictures for you, but nothing else is really happening atm. I'm growing the cities and when we swap into OR we'll whip some libs and markets.

Do we want to go heavy workshops later? Our core is all cottages, but I'm thinking maybe we go all workshops and farms over on the new island?

In light of plako... Something drastic has to be done. I've been thinking about what that could be since teching up takes too long.

Here's my plan:

PH>Masonry>Monotheism>HBR>Construction = Attack azza.

We get HBR and build barracks and stables with OR. We build cats and HAs. We attack. We continue whipping Cats and HAs and axes until we've taken most of Azza's land and he has nearly no resistance. Then we keep war up and slowly take him the rest of the way out while switch builds back to science.

Azza does not have a military he does not have military techs. We can watch his teching. He has just gotten currency.

This whole plan is moot if Azza goes masonry>construction. I'm hoping he's colonizing islands and his focus is not on our relations. I hope he starts teching calendar.

Azza is teching Sailing.

Started the temple, will whip it... next turn? It would be a 2 pop whip instead of one pop. Yeah okay. Regrows in 1 turn and we're whipping off a mine so we gain more production in overflow than we lose not working that tile for 1 turn.

0% tech for 2 turns, then 1t masonry and Mono. Get mono in time to swap to OR as soon as civic revolt wears off.

Otherwise we're in a growth period. Everything is growing on infrastructure while working cottages. We really don't have a lot of production cities: read only 1. Bodes not well for war if we do it.

need IW to make BaconWrap a production city. It has 2 jungled hills. Those plus the copper mine would be good.

Here's a look a Nakor's axe and worker. I hid after the SS.

You can see confu has spread to Nakor and the hut gave us 51 gold. That is really awesome. That is enough for 1 and a quarter turn of teching which will 1t masonry and 1t Mono next turn.

I whipped the temple and will start working a priest next turn.

We do need more workers, but for now we're fine in terms of no unimproved tiles worked. I just don't know where to get the workers from yet. Probably whip one out of BaconBacon.

How about this island?:

This top half is a bit of pain to dotmap. I think we should be rushing settlers here too, even if our neighbors are Vikings. It just means we'll need more garrison units. I have an idea of how I'd dotmap it. What do you guys think?

A lot of people planting cities. Mack planted two... Waiting on Azza to play.

Without seeing the south, the fish city where you've put it, 1E of the sheep, 1W of the crabs and 1S 2E of the western fish. Or 2S of the northern fish and 1S 1W of the crabs, which probably pushes the sheep city 1N.

Yep that's where my signs are in game. I'm sure if Scoopin settle on the island it will create a less optimal dotmap.

Rethinking attacking Azza. I just don't think I can get enough production and there are still so many cities to settle. So much land to grab peacefully.

yes, and the tech path you are talking about pushes the attack too soon, I think. I'd rather expand while we can and attack w/ cho-ko-nus, I think.

I didn't take any pictures. Azza is teching HBR. 9 turns right now, but he's not gaining gold.

We traded maps with nakor and food resources to indicate peace. I could have killed his chariot but decided not too. I think he may be Azza's target with war.

We met Commodore on our island, he has an axe there. In the north.

I'm thinking IW next. And workers builds in cities before settler builds.

Bigger you want to log in and take pictures and give the folks at home a city by city update?
