I know you would care about fairness but your lack of not being regretful at all about a possible rule-change is suspicious to me.

I've said before that I think the "need to control the vote" rule is a bad one. That's why I said I'd be fine with him changing it. Hence you're right that I wasn't regretful about a possible rule change. I still don't see why that should be a scum tell, though. I don't think I've earned a reputation as someone who will exploit every little weakness in the rules just so I can win. If I see a bad rule I'm not afraid to call it out as such even if that might technically hurt my chances to win.

One of us will likely be dead in a little over 12 hours. I don't see why we shouldn't just start talking and get some reads on each other. That will allow our doctor and seer to make more informed choices about their actions, at the cost of letting the mafia do... what exactly? I don't see why we have to stay quiet and let them focus exclusively on strategizing. I'd rather force them to start posting here. You (all of you) are giving mafia a carte blanche to lurk, for no clear reason.

I find MJW quite curious. Usually his "I won't exploit Brick not posting the PM's " is a hint to gain towncred but since Brick did post them this rather smells of MJW trying to trick u into believing him town.

BTW I don't see why we should not talk. It is IMO never too early to get villagereads (or scumreads).

It was my understanding when a night start was suggested in the survey that it was commented that there wouldn't be a night 1 kill, its just to allow scum to talk before day 1 when they are not allowed to communicate.

Brick, are you able to confirm that scum have the ability to kill after this night phase?

I don't think MJW would throw this out as scum, if he didn't actually see the role PMs in the first post. Are you saying that he saw them, but decided to pretend that he didn't, since they were in a spoiler tag? Seems a bit unlikely to me.

JKaen, scum can kill on the first night, yes. Villagers can use their powers too, though. So 9 villagers and 2 scum is not as town-favoured as it might seem. And let's call the first night night 0.
