well when you are building fairly worthless wonders like the Paya while bordering a vet thats building military, you deserve to have a couple of cities lifted :/

I suppose that means mostly harmless probably founded a religion.. do you think he could have grabbed Christianity? or did he found Buddhism?

Commodore got Christianity, Fintourist and Old Harry got Taoism (I think they might have bulbed it), Jowy/TBS got hindu and Jews, WilliamLP got buddhism. MH has founded no religions. SO Paya is a true headscratcher.

w/ the gold, and calender in 3 turns (lots of calender resources), and no wine to be seen, seems like we can put off monarchy for quite awhile and skip straight to metal casting after calender. whee

note that after taking this picture I moved off a grassland mine onto the village 2s of capital, and I moved the citizen from BAcon working that onto a grassland mine. Reason: capital has an academy, BAcon doesnt. on that note, capital needs more cottages

probably just a positioning war for scooter to get his galleys through dalphuir's territory


that light blue is dalphuir - he's sharing that part of the island w/ Plako and is pretty weak. perhaps we can exploit that and settle "his" island? (pictured with the wheat there). the hilly island is Azza's, I think, we might even get that if Azza is slow (although I don't expect that).



12 turns and counting, market will be in place. confu is 16% spread, closest is hindu w/ 13% spread. very nice . we still have 3 of our own cities it hasn't spread to yet.



retep (the blue here, 3 cities only) has shown very poorly in this pb, which is a little surprising after the strong initial showing in pb11. that makes Scooter pinching a city off our island even more annoying, because they should be able to take the medium sized island north of that city from retep quite easily (even if retep was able to settle it they wouldnt have a problem conquering it). Unless commodore decides to compete for it

maybe we can take the one city island due east of the city scooter stole from us. there's iron in the hills on it, crabs, and several forest to chop - not bad.




well lewwyn's not wrong... mackoti is probably going to win. mostly harmless is down to 3 cities, and may be the first civ eliminated.


look at that, we topped the top 5. 2, 3, and 5 on our continent, very competitive.

I'm not sure we are any more crowded than the other continents Lewwyn. there's basically 3 big continents (pretty boring map actually) and 5/17 are on our continent, slightly less than average.

Looking good. 2 cities settled in 3 turns, and another settler built to be shipped to the island gems location.

Calendar in 2 turns. Have open borders with Azza now which is giving us more commerce. Azza is teching Construction in 5 turns. Already has HBR. That means cats and elephants. After calendar we will go construction (4t). If we can get 2 cats build (maybe 1 chopped) immediately and down on the Azza border I'll feel safe-ish.
