Hmm, I notice our leader is named "Perpentach of the Seas" (per the save game name). I suspect I'm going to have violent opposition to where previous perps chose to place coves....
But hey, at least it's the Lanun again! Yay for a cove/cottage econ instead of Aristograrianism again!
Tech set to Agriculture, build set to Worker. You know the drill. Fishing can wait for tech #2 (which will likely get started but not finished during my set).
Decided to keep our starting warrior at home. Some combination of starting next to the Pristin Pass, and knowing that the map hasn't been edited to ensure reasonable distances between our starts makes me paranoid.
Gold's not terribly exciting, but better than nothing. Also caught sight of another unique feature, this one a little more benign. That'll be a great place to gaze out over the ocean, I guess. Also free Sun mana, and it'll be a good tile to work once we can Spring it (we start with Water mana!)
End of turn got a border expansion, which popped another hut:
Map is lame. Revealed another hut, which I guess my scout should go check out. While being very, very careful not to step near Pristin Pass (seriously, the odds of us getting wiped out by that are quite high ).
And our scout mutated into.... a scout with the mutated promotion . Lame.
Looks like there's a lizardman chasing that scout, so I guess I'll head back to Pirate Bay and hole up.
But the real news is this:
Hey, cool! What are we now?
Spiritual/Financial/Raiders. Hmm... none of those is terribly useful this early in the game. And loss of Creative means it'll be tough to get my Cove #3 in place. Well, I'll let Yell0w and/or Mardoc worry about that.
Looks like the Luchuirp Perpentach got a swap too... he's now Philosophical/Industrious/Charismatic.
Just for clarification do I send the save to the tracker, does the tracker work?, cause the page doesn't look like it. Or do I send it directly to another player?
EDIT: I rolled an 8
