Turn 4

Hopefully we didn't miss a scout move from last turn, but if we did, no big deal.

Where to move the scout this turn? My opinion says move 1SE and then move to the nearest hill/forest/flatland in that order of preference.

Scout moved and turn ended.

I hope everyone else is as lacking in resources as we are. At least it's all mostly grassland, with plenty of rivers.

I have the feeling there are going to be quite a few cities which do not benefit from being whipped every ten turns - there's hardly any food around.

I played turn 5

We found some food finally!

I think our second city should be 1W of the corn. That will irrigate it instantly when civil service comes in down the track without having to waste grassland on farms for irrigation, and it will still share multiple floodplain cottages with the capital.

My computer's been acting up this week, I took her in to get repaired yesterday and I haven't been able to get on the net since.

Sorry about that, should be smooth sailing from here.

No problem, that's why we have two people for exactly this sort of thing. what do you think about our second city to grab the corn and share two of the capital's floodplains.

I think that'd be solid second city, if we don't find anything to the south of our wheat for instant food sharing with the cap.

Looks like we could get a pretty decent city up on that plains hill by the clams too, but that's a bit far into the future.

HOLY RIVER/LAKE FINANCIAL COMMERCE BATMAN
