Hashoosh gets into bed and Dhalphir sometimes watches from the closet (SPOILERS)

If it wasn't for the lake 2E of the corn, I'd say that would be an ideal spot for the second city, because it could share the wheat.

But I'm not sure it's too important to focus on sharing the capital's food when the capital only has one.

Aye, but that's where you're wrong! The cap has 3 FP, which, in all honesty, are just as good (if not better) than rice before civil service. The cap can afford to split off it's wheat because of it's already strong 3f tiles.

I'm not convinced, but we'll see how the setup looks when we get the opportunity. We definitely shouldn't be separating the wheat with our second city though, the corn is too attractive.

Well we've got contact. I moved the scout 2SW to start completing our second city spot search to the south of the cap, and hopefully give some misdirection to Goreripper as to where out capital is.

Mining comes in next turn, BW after?

Now that we have a second city spot, I'm going to sim some more tonight. BW next for sure though.

You really gotta remember to end turn - happened again this turn according to civstats, and Krill said something in the tech thread too.

Scout move

I think a good spot for a third city MIGHT be 2S-1W of the wheat? Can share the wheat if that's what we end up wanting to do, and has tons and tons of river grassland.

I'm not seeing many good production locations though - none of these cities have the food to support more than one or two hills at a time, and they'll have to stagnate to do so.

Thy wish is my command, master

We ended turn next to a lion yikes. Thankfully we're on a hill, so we have a good chance of winning. Not as good as there being no lion, but you can't win everything!

Haven't seen goreripper's scout anywhere. I think we should circle around back east and look for his cap, and then start thinking of dotmapping. Judging by how soon he found us, his capital can't be more than around ~10 tiles away from his scout, unless he straight up went looking for neighbours, then it could be ~14 tiles.

A city on the PF 1s of the lion gets a lighthouse lake tile, a river corn and some very nice cottage land from what I can see. A city 3N of that helps bridge the gap, and we can cottage the river to its north.

Yeah seriously, like, 70-80% of our land is river grassland so far. There isn't a ton of food around, but there's enough.
