Ha, I thought about linking to the kitten huffing article but figured everyone had already seen it by now. But I love that animation.

Turn 126
Holy crap, it's turn 126! That means I owe you a power ranking. Why hasn't anybody complained about a power ranking yet? (For some reason I thought it was only turn 121...) ![]() More dancing. I remembered that we were getting +15cpt from trade routes, so I took the deal. Added bonus: we're giving gpt to the civ that has the misfortune of being stuck between dtay and mackoti. Maybe this can help them slow mackoti down by a turn or two. It was a boon for us. We ended up gaining 16cpt because the capital now has a 4cpt route, so at 100% tax we're grabbing an extra 11gpt. And we now top out on science near 350bpt. (It was 350 then I whipped a little.) This means I think we can get Machinery in 3 turns, with a wealth build (more on that later). ![]() I decided to whip the courthouse at Red Wings, taking off the miners for it. I think we may want to fire the specialists temporarily and work the mines in this city. Actually, this could be a good city to run Wealth for 2 turns. Then switch over to zerker production after the golden age starts. ![]() Horse island in all it's glory. Want to keep exploring north? I'd like to swing back south for the clam/iron island at some point too. ![]() What religion are we going to swap to? We have 4 confucian and 3 hindu cities ![]() i wish we had more workers. We haven't even started on workshops yet and by the time we finish the golden age those are going to be our best improvements (with guilds and caste). I put Pirates on a galley, which will be our 3rd in the western seas. Need a trireme over there too. I also put our research at 100% this turn. I think we can get machinery in 3 turns. Since the capital has a market finishing at end of turn I figured it was better to get the 100% turn out of the way now and take advantage of the market for later turns. Red Wings doing Wealth and turning the slider to 80% should be enough to get us to Machinery at eot128. Then golden age on 129 and build zerkers. ![]()

You're not actually planning to work mines instead of scientists in order to build wealth right? Scientists are 6b, the mines would be 3-4g.
