[PB16 SPOILERS] SevenSpirits goes off the deep end and finds Krill

t8.

We defeated the barb with no damage. IIRC that's only mildly lucky for a "free win" fight. Still it's good, and incidentally it means retep doesn't know it happened.

I also offered retep a peace treaty. The treaty will expire only after we can move a worker onto the ivory, so retep wouldn't be able to stop us improving it, though he could theoretically still prevent us from working our wheat for a couple turns (with his scout). Anyway it's a fine time. I didn't offer it last turn because I didn't want him to see it as due to us being afraid of an impending barb battle. And I didn't offer it the turn before because if he accepted, we would teleport out and he could potentially discern that our capital is to his east.

Yeah, obviously I've been able to play since the turn rolled, I was just waiting for retep. But now, he accepted peace, and on t10 we moved out of his vision, so I went ahead and played again immediately on t11.

The t10 scout move wasn't even worth posting about, but this is some good info. The screenshot didn't take for some reason, so here's FrozenScreen.tga.

Passed by a lion this turn. I'm glad we went for a scouting plan that's really unlikely to end turns next to animals.

Didn't report t13 because it was incredibly dull and I forgot to take a picture. Here's t14:

Still pretty dull but there you are. Well, I guess our worker's out and farming since last turn.

Retep meanwhile completed his work boat and has spent one turn now putting 8 foodhammers into a worker, as expected.

You know we should make a game of predicting Retep's plan.

We'd probably end up doing more work on that than our own micro plan.

IIRC one of the potential plans for the scout was 33, 37, 87. It's pretty fugly, we're spending turns scouting at 1 tile a turn thanks to that jungle but we need to know if there is any seafood to work out a potential dot map. And we would feel fucking awful if copper spawned on the one tile that was covered by fog.

So, about that tier list...turns out Gaspar is a wuss, and the only reason he won't post it is because he can't be bothered dealing with Sullla's legion of fanboys (too paraphrase him). Still managed to manipulate it out of him though.
