What do you say, TT? Want to do the same bet I did with Scooter for our game this week?

Final Week Playoff Race

This will be a bit shorter than the last two, since there's just not much to say. The top 4 players are ONLY playing for seeding, and since I'm including records and Points For, I'm not going to spell it out in detail since it should be easy to see.

Clinched - only playing for seeding/spoiler
1) Wetbandit (9-3) [1242]
2) scooter (9-3) [1119]
3) Sir Bruce (7-5) [1054]
4) Kuro (7-5) [1045]

Bubble: Win And You're In - all are 6-6, all clinch with a win
5) NobleHelium (6-6) [1088] - I'm having a hard time finding a likely way he misses even with a loss. The nature of the schedules and his general tie-breaker hold means he's pretty safe. Matchup: Kuro
6) Pindicator (6-6) [1083] - Same as Noble. If Lewwyn wins he gets the tie-breaker over Pin and Noble, but that would necessitate a DavidCorperial loss who pindicator would likely beat on points. So he's also pretty safe. Matchup: Twinkletoes
7) DavidCorperial (6-6) [1031] - Here we go. His game against Lewwyn is huge. Lose and he's probably out on points unless Cyneheard also loses. Win and he's in. Popcorn. Matchup: Lewwyn(!!)
8) Cyneheard (6-6) [1009] - Gotta win. Even Sunrise down in 10th has the edge in points, so a loss here probably dooms him unless both Lewwyn and Sunrise also lose. What's worse is he is matched against a strong team this week.Matchup: Sir Bruce
9) Lewwyn (5-7) [1129] - It is weird putting Lewwyn here since he's a game back of all these guys and he's in 9th, but it's true. Because he plays David Corperial, a win puts him in a tie for the last spot, and his large points edge means he's a lock with just a win. Loss means he is out regardless of what anyone else does. Matchup: DavidCorperial

Bubble: Need Some Help
10) Sunrise (5-7) [1019] - Loss means he's out. If he wins, he needs DavidCorperial or Cyneheard to lose AND to end up with more points than them (he's up on Cyneheard by a little, behind DavidCorperial by a little). Realistically he probably cannot catch pindicator or Noble, since he's far behind both of them in points. So sunrise needs: win, points, and to root for Lewwyn and Sir Bruce. Easy enough right? Matchup: Gaspar

Out
11) Twinkletoes (3-9) [1016]
12) Gaspar (3-9) [942]

The Games
Pindicator vs Twinkletoes: very little at stake
Lewwyn vs DavidCorperial: Game of the Week. Lots at stake as explained above.
Sunrise vs Gaspar: Must-win for sunrise
Sir Bruce vs Cyneheard: Almost a must-win for Cyneheard.
Kuro vs Noble: very little at stake
Wetbandit vs scooter: Winner takes top seed

Have fun everyone. smile

I agree, Lewwyn. Scooter could have done much worse
