Hmm, what do you guys think is the ideal number for a PBEM? I don't have a problem with a 6 people game but if there's enough interest for a second game anyway, 5 might be a better number to make sure the save keeps moving. I don't mind being the one to step back.

6 can sometimes work if everyone has a high PYFT rating and preferred playing times match up well.
But for the most part, 5 is about the max for a turn a day in a PBEM. ![]()

If there' enough people interested in a new FFH PBEM then maybe we can split them into a good players game and a noobs who don't know how to build workers game. No prizes for guessing which game I'd be in.

Right I think a list of currently interested players is needed (for me at least).
Ellimist Bob Dave? (not sure if you're still interested if there's 2 games) Dantski HidingKneel TBSword Greywolf Sian So if all of the above still want to play, then I'd prefer 2 more so the games have 5 people, 4 seems a little too few. Also its possible that 1-2 people on the list will prefer to play in Dave's proposed game.

PM or email me when you guys get a consensus and I'll start making a map (if we split the players evenly, one map can suffice for two games, as well). I might not finish until next weekend though, since this weekend is almost over and I'm traveling tomorrow.
Merovech's Mapmaking Guidelines:
I think five or six is probably the most that we can expect to have and still maintain a good turn pace. It sounds like this is who we have:
Ellimist Bob Dantski HidingKneel TBSword Greywolf And then DaveV's would be: DaveV Sian Jalapeño +whoever else chooses to join If someone in one of those groups wants to swap to the other one, just say so.

I can work on a second map if you'd prefer that/maps can't work for each set.
