I'm not quite sure. I picked Machinery but I'm running max tax at the moment so it's due in 13 turns. Other options are Construction, Monarchy->Feudalism, and Aesthetics->Literature. Or even Paper for increased known tech bonus, the bonus doesn't seem big enough to be worth the detour, though.

I think it's time to build the Hanging Gardens. I have 10 cities, and most of them are really painful to grow at this point. Using some of my hammer multipliers on 10 extra pop points seems good.

On T128-ish Commodore and Serdoa signed peace again, and Commodore ate a turn of anarchy to adopt Caste System!? Well maybe he was in a golden age, not sure.

Last turn Thoth adopted Taoism, and I think that was eating a turn of anarchy. What I don't get is why he also spread hinduism to his taoist holy city:




It can't have been a natural spread so he must have built a hindu missionary in his random hindu city at the other end of his empire. I don't get it, not that I'm complaining about the extra shrine income.

Fake edit: Okay, so my best guess is that he wants a hindu temple to try and get a great prophet for a shrine? I haven't followed the event log closely enough to know what his great person situation is.
