I dunno, sounds like your sandbox is off. I'll be able to check it in a couple of hours.

I understand. There are a lot of things to do in these turns and you guys do not seem like planners.
I'm pretty sure this sarcastic git wants to get killed. Added to ENEMIES list.
Anyway, I logged into the game this morning real quick to see if my worker micro matched up from the sandbox, and it does. I didn't check production values, but we just synched the sandbox with the in-game values a turn or two ago and I've used your tile assignments since, so the sandbox should be fine.
Tiles/production:
T19-22 wet corn, FP; grow to size 3 EoT
T23 ivory camp, wet corn, grass forest (warrior1 finishes 15/15).
T24-5 ivory camp, wet corn, FP. Grow to size 4 EoT (26/26, warrior2 8/15).
T26 ivory camp, wet corn, FP, PHF (warrior2 15/15 EoT).
T27-35 2xFP, wet corn, ivory camp (settler finishes EoT 35 108/100)
The settler finishes EoT 35 (8 overflow, 5/28 food). Using the assumed plan (it calls for fortifying a warrior on a desert tile, I read that someplace in thread/chat), I come up 1 road turn short of moving settler to city site #2 using above. City founds T38.
Worker:
T19 move 1N
T20-23 camp
T24-8 cottage FP
T29 move 1SE
T30-1 road hill
T32-4 road FP
T35 move 1NW to plains forest
T36-7 road
Here is what I've been doing in the sandbox to get the city settled on T37:
Worker:
T19 move 1N
T20-23 camp
T24-5 road
T26-30 cottage FP
T31 move SE
T32-3 road
T34 move N/NW (desert), road1
T35 road2
T36 road3 (before moving settler)
Settler on GFH on T36, settles T37. Now, someone show me where I messed up, because I'm just not seeing it. I've been over this several times and the only thing I haven't done is compare beaker/hammer/food values to the in-game version, but we just checked that so I'm assuming that's not a problem.

No turn report just yet, coming later. I decided to heal the scout because I felt like with a lot of jungle in the near future, that might just be for the best anyway. The lion moved out of the way on the IT. Here's the current situation, I'll play the new turn later.
I've got some dirt on my shoulder, can you brush it off for me?

Did you see which direction the lion went to? If not I think we'll have to move onto the hill for safety.
Someone should tell Goreripper that his double sarcasm makes that sentence make no sense by the way.

Think its gotta be the hill anyway. Lion went SE, IIRC, though we should be able to see it when we move SE, which we'd be doing no matter which way we go. But I don't think we can land of flat land when we know the lion is there.
Anyway, out for a few hours, I'll check back in later.

If the lion went SE then it'll be on the forest 332 of the scout, which won't be visible when we move SE.
Anyway, looks like we have a 72.7% chance of victory if we get attacked on the hill by a lion now.

Boldly, I haven't been working the grass forest at size 3. That's probably why.

Huh? Me? I wish I had a savant-like understanding of game mechanics like that. I tend to shoot for the hip, except for the opening stages of the game. This is more what I would have done in PB11 with Xenu if he hadn't flatly rejected the use of sandboxing and micro plans. He apparently likes to get in game and stare at the screen for an hour before moving stuff. I like to have a plan. Early on, it's worth it. Later on, too much stuff changes to make multiple iterations as useful.
I'll keep this going as time permits. I'll be away from civ next Monday for about two weeks though, so they'll have to manage (somehow) without me.
I guess this is as good of a place as any other to solicit input. I'm going to Italy and I haven't been there before. My wife has tasked me with coming up with some places I'd like to see. I just want to go and figure it out as we go, but I know having a plan makes some sense. So, if you've been to Rome, Venice, or Florence and know any can't-miss stuff, please help spam up this thread and let me (and Gaspar and Noble) know. Thanks!

I've never been to Italy either (apart from the border area towards France), but generally speaking having a plan is good, especially near tourist traps, IMO.
NobleNit: It's "shoot *from* the hip".
I have to run.
