I was just explaining to Ichabod the English definitions. How exactly would the random thing work?

Everyone who wants in on the predictions game signs up. I then number all the teams and random.org numbers to allocate a team to a signed up player. Then everyone has someone (else) to cheer for. I normally have one at work or uni where everyone chips in a pound and then top 3 get prize money from the pot, but I just think this would be a fun diversion for watching even without money

Was thinking of the top 3 getting some extra points in prediction league, but given how close the result was last time out, that is probably unfairly game-changing.

Oh boy, that's a tough group. Spain, Netherlands and Chile, just about the worst case scenario possible.

The groups this time are basically death or super easy, nothing in between. Good day to be a seeded South American team, certainly.
I've got some dirt on my shoulder, can you brush it off for me?

Watched the draw live, in an English pub, eating English food, drinking English beer, and mocking English fans for what will surely be another disappointed World Cup smug.

Well at least this time they won't be knocked out by the first decent team they meat, because no matter how bad they're pasted by Andrea and friends, they'll still technically be able to qualify from the group.

@Krill I'll stay in for a while yet. Ozil is very much injury prone, and the rest are as bad as Utd.

Who needs Messi when you have a Neymar? mischief

That was a great performance. Here's hoping we get to enjoy a Bale vs. Neymar battle when Ronaldo vs. Messi starts to fade smile.
