Turn played & passed, but I find I'm at peace with someone I never sent a peace proposal to, for reasons I don't understand. I don't really care enough to ask to reload the last turn, but I am confused about what just happened. Is there some sort of known bug caused by alt-clicking to declare war?

Okay, apparently proposing an empty trade AND THEN declaring war via alt-click sends a secret, invisible cease-fire offer at the end of your turn. Who knew? Not me, that's for sure!


Well, I said I wouldn't ask for a reload, and it's not worth setting us back two days of turns over, but for the record I am very disappointed with whichever Civ IV programmer implemented this little bit of idiocy rant

Is anyone going to need a Christmas pause? I'll be away from my PC for most of Christmas Eve & Day, but can play in the morning for the former and at night for the latter.

I expect that I'll hold the save most of the 25th through 29th. I'll be attending my sister's wedding out of town. I'll bring along my laptop and play if I have time, but I think I'll mostly be busy.

Already checked with Q, he can't cover this time.
