After teaching me how to play De Gaulle of India, now you want to teach me how to Impi rush...

Thought for the day: Do we want to go and kill Retep now, because the game might get very boring if we do that?

OK, I don't like whipping the impi to get to size 1, simply because even if we kill Retep we just delayed our growth by not getting a settler. That said, I like the idea of choking Retep, but only so we can kill him with catapults. I don't think 1 Impi will be enough to do this, but 2 Impi sitting in his land will be ideal. I also wonder if we should instead aim to steal away his worker/settler as he moves them to a new city, but I also don't have the effort in me to figure out if that's even possible.
Maybe we should just get 2 quick impi and "double move" his capital.

Sigh... lost our scout to a lion who attacked us in a forest at 11% odds. Our first (non-free-win) barb combat of the game, too. No more scout support for The Impingement.

Carthago delenda est!
The warrior is defogging down there to give us the option of roading SW of the copper to accelerate the Impi by half a turn. It doesn't let us attack the city any sooner but we can end up next to Carthage instead of 2 away (by going south of the lake and then north of the mountains).

That warrior is autoupgrading in queue to an Impi. Can hit his capital on T35 if it is empty yes?

Yeah, but it surely won't be empty - at the very least he can whip a warrior from scratch at that point, and he can see us on t33 already.
Luckily it can hit his capital if it's not empty, too.

Impi have mobility right? So why go through the north when you could move 477, 77 onto the grass sugar out of his vision and then move end of the turn 11 so the impi is 99 of his capital and he has no time to react?

Because mobility is only -1 terrain movement cost and your path takes us through a forest hill.
