My last arena run ended 3-3 and I got 20g+30g+pack as rewards (maybe some tiny amount of dust as well, I don't remember). Perhaps I was lucky, but it is possible. I dislike videos, where the commentator sounds like he is using a 5$ headset with tons of noise, but this caster is really good in that regard. Though to be honest, the first video I watched was a 4-3 hunter arena run. Yes, it is not easy winning all the time, even for the pros. ![]() BTW, what legendary cards do you guys try to acquire first? I bought a large booster package today and drew 2x Deathwing... ![]() I found this assessment of legendary cards interesting. The only problem I have is while I think you can easily get all important rares and to a lesser extent the epics if you are patient, getting all desired legendaries is pretty much impossible unless you spend a large amounts of money.
I got Onyxia, but I don't run her in any deck. It's kinda sad.
I think I'm more excited about getting some good rares and epics than most legendaries ![]() Crafted Pyroblast yesterday after dominating multiple games, but not having enough damage to finish them. Makes a huge difference.
The two best legendaries (atm) are Sylvanas and Ragnaros. They can go in virtually any deck right now and make them better. Bloodmage Thalnos and Ysera are the other two strong neutral legendaries. Tinkmaster is also decent as a pseudo-silence for big minions.
For the class specific legendaries Tyrion is probably the only notable one worth crafting at the moment. Vancleef is good for rogues too but Questing Adventurer isn't a bad substitute. Jaraxxus isn't very good imo but is the most fun card in the game. In general I think crafting legendaries isn't too expensive once you regularly start getting extra rares. I also disenchant all my golden cards - shiny stuff is neat but I'd rather have better cards available.
Yay rank 12! Started two days ago. Playing pretty much exclusively against warlocks and paladins. Warlocks run rush decks, with murlock variant being the most successful against me. Need AoE clear or taunts to survive these, I've had some success after I modified my deck accordingly. Paladins run a late game deck. Heals from 2x Guardian of Kings. Board control with Aldor Peacekeeper, Equality, Wild Pyromancer, Consecration, and Recruit combos. Basically stronger and cheaper Firestrikes. Sword of Justice and sometimes Truesilver Champion as weapons, and ofc Tirion Fordringer wins games by himself. Way to beat these paladins is to hold onto ooze and silence in your hand to take out a weapon and Tirion. And don't play too many minions at once since they have a 4 mana full board clear.

Indeed, I played a version of Kripparrian's mage deck today for the daily and without a Pyroblast it certainly lacks...the point. ![]() Though I must admit, some games were very close. Ice Block might not be such a bad secret after all, it's basically an extra turn. Prophet Velen looks really nice - doubling all healing and spells? Yes, please. And Jaraxxus might not be that bad. I first wondered what the point of this card was, until I realized your class special and weapon changes as well. But of course if you need him something has gone wrong already. |
