Killed a spear and a chariot, losing a few horse archers and a chariot. Krill has a big stack with some sundry stack defenders and 10 catapults next to the city ruins, in Pindicator's culture. He has a horse archer stack there too but I lost visibility on it since the unit that razed the city got booted back out of Pindicator's culture.
Anyway Krill may well raze Pindicator's ToA city this turn in which case the culture disappears from the battlefield. Pindicator's moves have seemed a bit odd to me, if he believed he was playing after Krill that could explain it.
I have to run.

So you declared vs Krill?

Yes. After I played Krill did indeed raze Pindicator's ToA city and killed the survivors of my razing party. And at the end of that turn Lewwyn declared on Pindicator.
I logged in now to check the situation and also notice that Krill has a settler and a great artist on the ruins of the city that I razed.
I have to run.

Logged in to take a look. Was met by this:
Krill settled up on me and bombed. His peace offer is generous, honestly. He has a big HA stack and a big Cat+melee stack. I think he can take two cities.
I reoffered peace for Eckert.
I have to run.

I've used the enforced peace with Krill to capture two Pindicator cities, one of which was definitely a natural part of Krill's conquests. Krill was not amused. (He demanded all my cities, then the city in question).
Sorry Krill, nothing personal of course. But you're bigger and stronger than me and it's only going to get worse. And now that you're my only neighbour future conflict is inevitable, so I might as well be as annoying as possible as soon as possible. On that note I'm pillaging towns in Pindicator territory that will soon belong to Krill. I need the money for knight upgrades.
Pindicator is down to just his capital. Lewwyn took one city, I took two and razed one that Krill took. Krill resettled that one, bombed it, and took Eckert from me.
I have a very long and very close border with Krill which just shows how hard it will be for us to stay peaceful. Peace expires in 7 turns, I'm moving before Krill every turn.
I have to run.

After 2 turns of warring I've taken Eckert and Krill's taken Blah. I'll probably lose more cities soon though.
I gambled last turn that Krill didn't have Engineering - I couldn't see any pikemen and his unit deployment suggested 4-move units. Luckily I was right, or I would have lost three cities last turn.
Krill's main HA stack was in the culture-bombed City14 last turn along with an unspent great general. (With Engineering those HAs could have captured Eckert, Wagner and Bottomley). I had moved up on the city with some knights and HAs, since taking out City14 would be my only hope of a secure southern front. His stack was too big to tackle though so my 2-movers retreated to a central position SE of my capital.
Krill needs to be a bit careful, especially if he still doesn't have Engineering. If he moves in in force I can counterattack in another area. Not a winning strategy for me, but unnecessarily painful for Krill too I would think. Even so, I fully expect to be in for some tactical punishment in the coming turns. To top it off he birthed another great artist last turn, luckily at the other end of his empire.
I have to run.

You've got aggressive pikes; if combined with a decent knight stack, holding the line may be possible. Like you say, he may not be interested in sacrificing a lot just to hurt you. He does look a bit big for comfort though.
Any chance to hit him through Thoth's territory or something?
Shouldn't there be a dogpile at this point?
I could log in and have a look for myself if you don't mind.
If you know what I mean.
