[Spoiler] Sian actually updates a game *Gasp*

so, after Fishing and whatever else I need for short-term worker use (Calender and Animal husbandry springs to mind), it might be worthwhile to go Ancient Chants->Mystitism->OO?

Save have been a bit sluggish, but updating the northern exploration next turn ... the warrior is slugging to boring desert in the NE (finding riverside desert that aren't flood plains) and the scout have gotten up to the northern tip of the lake looking around

Well...maybe. You're Calabim, though, which means you get less from Myst and more from CoL than anyone else; it's hard to resist just plowing straight for Code of Laws. Aristofarms, Governor's Manors, both will make you really take off.

I think I'd go Ancient Chants - Edu - Code of Laws. Edit: (after worker techs) If you miss the OO holy city, you can still use OO. Going there first would save hammers potentially if you get free spreads, but going CoL first simply gives you more hammers.

Probably. But we're probably talking 40 turns before you're done with CoL, so wait and see. Maybe something changes by then.
