Sorry to hear it, but hopefully a long break when bigger takes over will help.

Well I was expecting to get burned out, since it happens often enough. That's why I play with a backup like Bigger so I can get refreshed. Unfortunately I'm playing in pb15 as well which is also a big time suck. Initially I signed up to share the load with Scooter, but Scooter bailed to focus on this game and I took over for him. In the end that must have been his master plan since I stopped updating this when I took over that game. In fact, once I stopped updating the level of energy dropped and I simply didn't have enough time to plan further ahead. I feel the civ has stagnated, which is frustrating, but I simply haven't had the time or willpower to try and plan everything out. It's become very chore-like at the moment.

Man, scooter is devious. He uses pb15 as a distraction to keep you busy just before he moves into a dominant position in pb13.

Azza barely reacted to my wardec. Didn't really move anything. He's at 6 turns to engineering.



His southern cities are very lightly defended. My capture here almost splits Azza in half. Really wish I had knights right now instead of in 2 turns.



Feint, sortof in the north. Azza let me keep the 2 workers I captured. His main army is visible here. It's barely anything. He got guilds this turn so maybe he's whipping knights. 3 whips this turn. Last turn I checked though and he didn't have iron hooked up, unless he was getting it via trade.

Think you can work with that Bigger? AT least 2 mainland knights in the next 3-4 turns and 3 more to be whipped on the island and transfered over. After the round of pikes in the south cities are finished I'll build cats.

Oh and when I took the city I lost 3 cats. I killed 2 axes, 2 spears, a WE, and an LB. If I were Azza I would have retreated the units, but I think he's phoning it in. Good for us.

hahahaha. ha. hahah. Lewwyn can I just take a moment to tell you how much I love you? You are awesome.

I've been disconnected for a bit from this game since my old laptop went out of comission couldn't login, and you weren't reporting much. I got the impression you were checking out, not too ready for war, and Azza was beating us to guilds to it would be tough. But I knew we would need to fight him, so I thought I would have to spend awhile building up. Instead, you wait until right before I take over and start the war for me. hahaha. I love it.

I don't have the complete picture, but I think I can handle it . Not like I don't have experience conquering Azza with maces and knights (and we have cho-kus too this time).

I just got my new laptop up and running. still need to downlad a few programs, including civ and the latest rbmod (where can I get the latter?). then I need to login and spend a couple of hours getting familiar with the game again. can you play 1 more turn? I noticed 3 hours to go, so ill pause for you if necessary. I should be able to take over tomorrow and going forward.

If you could do a state of the empire or at least state of the war big report that would be helpful too. If its not too much trouble.

- I guess we are last in turn timer? Kinda wish we were first so i wouldn't have to wait on Azza.. but not a biggie.
- How serious of a threat is Scooter to pile on once we are entrenched in Azza territory? this is my biggest fear. is Commodore in a situation to scare Scooter away from invading us? I'm hoping afer pb8 he is a bit more fearful of Commodore than he should be.
