I know I used a lot of parenthetical qualifiers, but I don't think it's that difficult to understand:
This day we do nothing; if most people vote for "no lynch", nothing happens and we just move on to the night cycle.
Normally that would be a bad idea, because we gave up a (low) chance to kill a wolf, and now they can murder a villager- but they
can't kill a villager on the first night! They can only "wound" one by eliminating a clone, barring multiple wolf killing powers (and wolves with vig-esque powers seems somewhat unlikely). The wolves could forgo attacking anyone, but that's a victory for the village, since the scum gave up their main advantage and every night they do so is one where they risk losing a member to a seer or similar role. Or the wolves could attack one of their own members- but that's also a minor win for the village, even if it buys the scum some temporary cover, since it makes the wolf vulnerable to a vig kill later on.
So then on day cycle 2 we have a single wounded player, assuming the wolves used their power. This person is most likely a villager. Not confirmed, but pretty likely. That's one less person to waste time voting for and mis-lynching, at least early on.
And then on the second night cycle, if we have some protector-type role they can cover the wounded player, forcing the wolves to either risk wasting the night or wound a different player- which then gives us *two* likely villagers the next day, making 3rd-day voting even easier.
We can't completely lock out the wolves this way, as Ichabod suggested- they'll eventually wound enough players that they can't all be protected (if we even have protector to begin with), and people will start dying. But we can stall them for a long time... if my understanding of the rules is correct, and vigs hold their fire for the first few days (to ensure there aren't multiple woundings, which would obfusticate who the wolves targeted).

Well, duh. But I don't think they have a nightly
instant-kill ability, since the rules state:
"If a player is killed by
any other means [besides lynching], they will lose a clone(life)"
Honestly I'm tempted to vote for either Xenu or Novice, since I don't think my logic was particularly difficult to follow, and novice sounds like he's purposely playing dumb (I mean, the elimination / wounding rules are RIGHT THERE on the first page, come on). Right now I'm going to practice what I'm sort of preaching and go
No Lynch.
